We have stayed here before and always enjoy it. To a person, the staff are always cheery and helpful. The hotel has great indoor and outdoor spaces to relax. We had dinner on one night (as a couple) and were part of a group luncheon the next day. Both meals were excellent with great service. Our room was quiet and spacious; parking is hassle free. Silo Hotel is in a location that allows easy walking to a number of Launceston's attractions. It is close to the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery (Inveresk and City); the Launceston CBD and parks; York Park and the river cruise jetty. There are quite a few close restaurants. We investigated this time and can see that it would be a comfortable walk to the Penny Royal complex and the Gorge.

Confortable stay. Confortable bed, good pillows. Excellent spot to run from. Yummy breakfast. Worst chicken wings I’ve ever had at Woodys. Did not get the drink I ordered there either.

We had a great stay. Loved the decor- everything was very relaxing and the bed was great. We had a river view room which had a lovely view and a small balcony with a chair and table. The breakfast , which was ordered from a menu was a nice change from a buffet. Location was perfect for us. Would definitely stay there again.
