Overall, I enjoyed my stay, thanks to the friendly and helpful staff. However, the room I was assigned had several issues. First, my room faced the parking garage. I understand that some hotels may initially assign less desirable rooms unless guests explicitly request a change, but I was surprised and disappointed that a high-end hotel like Raffles would do this. Because I did not spend much time in my room, this alone was manageable. However, there were several issues with the light fixtures and control panels. One of the bedside lamps would not turn off, no matter what I did, so I eventually had to unscrew the light bulbs. Later, the control panel fell off the wall, and I had to call to have it repaired. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. Service on the first two days was acceptable, but on the third day, it was very subpar: the water bottles and glasses were not replaced, and there were stains on the bedsheet.

The room was nice, but the location just OK and not anything like Raffles Singapore. Further, the staff seemed new and little things like coffee was available in the lobby one morning (and it was just warm, not hot) but not the next day.
