Style over Substance

While this hotel has a stylish aesthetic, it unfortunately falls short when it comes to comfort and practicality. I stayed in an upgraded park view room, but it was surprisingly small. There was no convenient place to store my luggage except under the bed, and the bathroom was compact. The small desk made working in the room impractical, and I don’t appreciate being forced to go down to the lobby to get water or find a place to work. Breakfast was another letdown—there were no basic options like eggs or bacon, and while I appreciate diverse cuisine, a selection of kimchi and other non-traditional breakfast items didn’t meet my expectations. Additionally, setting up the ironing board took up nearly all the available space in the room. Overall, while the hotel looks good on the surface, the experience was lacking in key areas. I won’t be returning.

my recent two-night stay at the Tribe in Perth was, frankly, a significant disappointment. While I understand the concept of a boutique hotel, the sheer lack of space in the room was compounded by an incredibly uncomfortable layout. The bathroom door opening directly onto the bed offered absolutely no privacy, a fundamental aspect of a hotel room. Furthermore, the heavy bathroom door proved to be quite cumbersome and even physically taxing on my arm and shoulder with each use. Adding to my dissatisfaction was the apparent substitution of the advertised K Murphy toiletries with inferior products. As a regular user of the brand, I immediately noticed the difference in quality, which was frankly unacceptable. However, the most disheartening aspect of my stay was the distinct lack of care and attentiveness from the hotel staff. Upon arrival, we were simply directed to download an app for local parking payment, with no consideration given to the fact that we did not possess Australian SIM cards. When I inquired about a late checkout, a standard benefit my Hubby often receives as a Platinum member, the manager's generous offer amounted to a mere additional hour – a gesture that felt perfunctory and fell far short of expectations. In conclusion, my experience at the Tribe in Perth was a regrettable mistake. The combination of poorly designed, cramped rooms and a dismissive attitude from the staff has firmly placed this premises on my personal blacklist. This stay was certainly not the level of service or comfort we anticipate having Platinum Accor status

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Poor customer service skills. Takes very long to reply in the e-mail as if ignoring issues. They charged me 2 weeks after my check out out of nowhere in the credit card with a lost bike fee claiming that I have not returned bike when in fact I returned and endorsed the bike. In addition, my security deposit and first night holding fee was still not returned up to this day Be warned! Avoid going to this hotel at all cost!

When you stay with the car, make sure you understand the parking .

It was really an overnight to end our Soutern part of Western Australia short road trip, to rest and back in the city. It is a city hotel, not much room, remind me of hotel in Japan which has not much space, well just tyipical city hotel, don't expect much, really just to recharge and get ta good night sleep and up the next morning and go. There is no parking space allocate for the guess specifically and one of the reason had to check out earlier because by 8 am one need to pay the park and it was not that straight forward for us. The staff when we checked in who gave the information was not that knowledgeable about it, luckily we rechecked with other staff and she was giving us better explainantion on the parking time. The lobby area seems nice ambient but not much time to be able enjoy it.

I stay with TRIBE about 2-4 weeks of the year for work, and usually love it. Positives: - super friendly and helpful staff - great lobby and rooms - great meals - always get my favourite rooms on top floor facing the park This time though, things were a little less than impressive: - No jugs near water station and no water in room - if there's no water in the room for free, there needs to be lots of jug - No free drink voucher (not advised it's on the app till leaving) and no fine chocolate/wine, just small bag of cheap M&Ms - Not many tea options in the room - Wifi not connecting in the room All the little touches seem to be disappearing to reduce costs and it shows.
