Excellent location, very friendly & helpful staff, room very clean & large. Directly across the road from Prahran marketplace. Tram stop 50 Mtrs from hotel for direct to city. Disappointed that the restaurant and bar have closed. Artwork absolutely impressive.

Why does Accor bother with a website - the information is often wrong

Excellent value, rooms decent and staff very friendly. I just wonder why Accor bothers to have a website. The details are just not correct. For example it states the hotel has " two exciting restaurants " The hotel doesn't have any restuarants! It then says "The hotel does not accept cash" That is also incorrect, I was told no problem should a wish to pay in cash (which I didnt, but it was offered) The purpose of the information on the web page is just that - to get information - please see that it is correct. I have had many other instances at the Sofitel with the same problem. They have a menu for the resturant in some instances that are often years old and not valid.

Comfortable well located for shopping and eating. Opposite Prahran market public transport at the door. Large rooms and excellent bedding. Check in simple and clean quiet rooms. Our stay was without any hassle and enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Very happy with how the staff treated us, they were delightful. The Cullen is in a great location, close to Chapel street but not too close. Not noisy at all. Rooms are delightful, clean, spacious, original. Definitely happy with our stay and will be booking again.

No room service .disappointed. I have stayed at the Cullen for years and it’s not as good as it used to be. No restaurants and no room service so it didn’t feel like a good hotel to stay at if you want to stay and relax.. not even a coffee! I will not be staying again until they have better facilities
