Amazing Location but that’s it, Wouldn’t waste your money, Not 4-5 star!

Amazing location but that’s where it ends. No concierges upon arrival which you would expect at a 4+ star hotel. Located a random trolley in car park we used for our luggage & we managed to keep ahold of to use again when we departed. Elevators are the slowest we have ever experienced. We booked a two bedroom with plunge pool bbq balcony however due to the pool & bbq area located out further from the initial balcony there is no privacy the above units open out & look straight onto this area as if this wasn’t intrusive enough the area was made more unusable due to the invasion of Cockroach's they were literally everywhere & when mentioned to staff upon departure was brushed off as being “unavoidable due to beach location”. Housekeeping also needs a lesson in actual cleaning mould in showers on tiles & food remnants on utensils including tongs, cigarette butts by pool & bbq. We have stayed on the coast numerous times this was the most expensive & worst place we have ever stayed. It’s a real shame they have such an amazing location however we will not stay here again.

We stayed for a week over Christmas. Beautiful clean hotel. Our 3 bedroom apartment was clean and comfortable with ocean views. Staff were friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Beach just across the road. Plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend.

Service isn’t attentive to meet my expectation

Scent of the floor is awful (unfortunately not to my personal liking) Restaurant service is poor (due to holiday staff shortage which I could understand) After stay service is so poor while I tried to a lost item (so disappointing - no more follow-ups or communications at all)

We have stayed at Peppers Soul nearly every December since their opening. This year we decided to splurge & rent the 3 Bedroom Sub Penthouse. What a beautifully appointed apartment. So much space & storage. The master suite was huge & beautifully furnished. King size bed, 2 large ottomans, lounge area with a double sofa & coffee table and a chaise lounge. The ensuite consisted of a separate room with a freestanding bathtub and an amazing ocean view. Through double doors was the double shower, double vanity & toilet. Through another set of double doors was the huge walk in robe with abundant hanging space, shelves & drawers. There is a separate TV room with Japanese style sliding doors, a generously sized powder room, laundry, lounge room, huge kitchen, dining room, office area, 2 other bedrooms one of which was generously sized and a spacious main bathroom with toilet. There’s a main balcony with a dining table, sun lounge & an amazing view of the coastline. There is also a separate private balcony off the master suite & another long balcony off the two other bedrooms with a view of the Gold Coast night life & hinterland. All in all an amazing apartment with plenty of room for 6 adults to live comfortably. Free secure parking for one vehicle. Everything you could want is within close walking distance - beaches, restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping, nightclubs etc

Great stay but lacking that 5 star experience and service

Apartment is excellent size, incredibly spacious and has almost everything you would need. The location is fantastic, so close to shops, entertainment and restaurants, and right across from the beach. All rooms have a beautiful view and huge balcony. The fridge had filtered water and ice machine maker which is great. Nespresso machine in the room but no milk frother which is really what makes the difference with coffee! A few things that let our stay down - they tried to charge us $25 a day for parking, I checked 2 weeks prior to staying on their website it said complementary parking - they agreed to wave it only when I brought this up and said the price changed Dec 1 - make sure they don’t charge you if you booked before this date! The room cleanliness lacked attention to detail. There was only 1 pan in the kitchen for cooking which was unusable, not sure how old it is but no amount of oil or low heat would prevent everything sticking to the pan - we called housekeeping asking to replace the pan to make pancakes as we couldnt with the one provided.. 1 hour later someone brought up a handful of pens? We said we wanted a pan not pens, then later brought a pan with the exact same issue. On the day prior to checkout we returned from a day out and housekeeping attending to find the fridge filter not working at all (error code on door) - called housekeeping who said they would send maintenance up but no one ever came. Lastly, the main bedroom of the 3 bed apartment has 2 single beds pushed together.. I don’t know why hotels do this as it’s so uncomfortable for couples. Overall our stay was great but can’t give 5 stars for the reasons above - soul would do well to provide better customer service.
