As a loyal Accor member, I must say that this stay has been one of the worst experiences I've had, and what makes it even more frustrating is that over a week has passed with no acknowledgment or apology from management. We had booked a one-bedroom suite, but upon arrival, the apartment was filthy. The cushions on the sofa had an unpleasant odor, and to our horror, the bed linens were in a dreadful state—nothing short of a nightmare (see pictures). We immediately called and were moved to another room, only to be met with a stench of sewage. Despite raising my concerns, there has been no acknowledgment, apology, or refund offered. Given that I frequently stay at Accor properties for business, this experience has truly left a bad impression. The lack of response to my complaint and the overall poor service are incredibly disappointing. I’ll be escalating this matter further

Our stay has been extremely fantastic. The room we stayed in was charming. The grounds were clean, and the staff were lovely to deal with. We had dinner in the restaurant on our first night and casual dining the next. We had two outstanding experiences- Manura - the front of the house was outstanding. Especially when making us the cocktails we asked for. Delicious! 20/10! Zahra - for her knowledge of the menu and wine list. Brilliant from you both; we can’t wait to come back to experience your fantastic service again. It was indeed a surprise. Thank you for making our time away extra special.

Second time I've stayed at Moonah Links, but this time I stayed in a Moonah Room. I booked online and paid $242 for the room. When I arrived the room was stinking hot with the heating set at 24C. I had to open the doors to cool the room down. Which was unfortunate because that meant that I noticed the grass clippings all over the "patio", the scrunched up door mat covered in grass and the furniture with peeling finish. The best thing I can say about the room is that the bed was comfortable. The room was small, cramped and really dated. The bed head was what looked like painted plywood fixed to the wall with two rows of tiles at the top. Honestly it was weird. The artwork in the room was two of the same picture, side by side, again quite weird. The basin in the bathroom had spider cracks all through it and looked dingy. The toiletries were nice and had a lovely scent which was appreciated. My take on it, there are a lot of places that are much nicer for the same price or less.

We had two pleasant nights at Peppers Moonah Links. The room overlooking the 18th fairway on the Legends course, was clean and well appointed. The staff at Pepper were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. All meals were delicious. Looking forward to a return visit, with an improved performance on the golf course!
