I stayed in a lovely room initially, but needed to move because the safe in the room was faulty. The room i was moved to was dark, small and next to the lift, and there was noise day and night. The staff are bored and take their time and I didn't bother going into the restaurant, because it was empty, dark and set up like a high school cafeteria. Such a lost opportunity to do great things with this beautiful old hotel. Do better guys.

We recently spent a night at the Peppers Gallery Hotel in Canberra. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff were extremely helpful and we were lucky enough to find parking right outside the hotel. being a Sunday night the restaurant was closed but we were able to get something to eat in the bar. Breakfast was pleasing and we felt very relaxed and welcome. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Hotel is tired. Front foyer very welcoming and modern. Rooms and dining area much in need of make over. Dining area is poorly set out with walls needing repair. Shower drained into toilet area creating a pool of water. Bed head vinyl was pealing and torn. Buffet breakfast was lacking in continental choices. Corridors not heated. Staff excellent however were very friendly and obliging. Dinner on the Saturday night was very enjoyable.

Tried to book hotel online and had trouble - so I called hotel and took option 2 for reservations - this too was a pointless exercise. Called again and spoke to a wonderful girl by the name of Nadia (I think) if it wasn't for her, I can tell you I wouldn't bother. Reservation was taken over the phone - just like the good ol' days. The hotel is very well positioned in the CBD of Canberra - would definitely stay here again. Carparking was ok. The actual petite hotel room was functional and everything was in working order. A lovely hotel to stay in.

Booked direct via Accor, staff very understanding and accommodating due to flight schedule changes, warmly welcomed on arrival and soon enjoying the amenities of our spacious room, 201. Serviced daily and I'm sure that bed linens were also renewed on a daily basis. Great bed, comfortable and snug, resulting in refreshing sleep. Excellent staff throughout all areas and reception staff went beyond expectations to assist when requested. Great location in Acton, many attractions within walking distance for the more able bodied, or, in our case, just short taxi rides. I've used the term, "home from home", on very few hotel stays, Peppers has been added to the list.
