I had a pleasant stay at Mantra MacArthur. The staff were kind and the hotel had a good location, close to tram. The kitchen also served really delicious coffee. Check in and check out was too easy. Car park was accessible. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

I really enjoyed my stay here. A good location with close proximity to the tram stations. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff were excellent, especially Amy, who rang the day after I left to advise me the cleaning staff had found my watch in the room (I thought I had lost it in town). They promptly sent it in the mail to my home address. I was so relieved to get it back! Fantastic service. Thank you!

Firstly, it is next to an active building site. No disclosure of this on booking, or subsequent communication. Woken early by machinery and work crew. We booked what they labelled as a 'suite'. It was nothing more than a standard room with a lounge chair thrown in. The space for the beds were so narrow, we would hit the wall. Very little space for hanging clothes, everything old and worn, and same for the pillowsThe bathroom had no vanity. Just a metal trolley with a few worn towels.Worst of all the sheets were stained. I went downstairs to the supposed coffee shop to buy some breakfast. Only buffet breakfast available for $28.00. So, not really a coffee shop, just a hotel dining room! We booked a second room which was meant to have twin beds, but this was not provided, until my son insisted. The attitude of the staff is one of total no care. On check out, she did not even lift her head. Told me to leave key cards on the desk. Very tardy hotel, with a tardy attitude.

Business stay due to central location

Booked a suite and the room was a bit smaller than the one we had on our previous trip. Was Ok for us, never enough coat hangers supplied for a business trip, frigs tend to defrost and have pools of water in them, we were told it was an upgrade but definitely preferred the room I actually booked which appeared more spacious, never sure about whether the room will be serviced or not as this is dependent on booking price so if you want servicing check first. Don't expect hand towels because we were told that they did not have any. This was our third stay here this year. It all seems a bit hit and miss and for someone who is involved in training in a customer service centric industry I expect a bit more from them

No mini bar. Restaurant permanently closed. Paid for housekeeping and received none- came back to messy room and dirty dishes! Phone not working in the room. Also had to pay for parking . Will never ever stay again ! 2 stars at best. Also had to pay upfront! Very very dissatisfied

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. This review has been passed onto our Housekeeping Management to review & take the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent future occurrence as this is not up to our high standards. Our Restaurant is currently open for Breakfast and Lunch on weekdays and only Continental Breakfast on weekends. We also have pre cooked options for Dinner. Also, we are in process to open our dinner services soon. As the hotel does not have its own parking we offer discounted parking for public parking located next to hotel. Alternatively street parking options are available near to hotel. Once again accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience. Hope you give us another chance to serve you better.
