Lovely Stay

We have a lovely stay at Peppers. We have a garden suite which great and well equipped. We did not have the breakfast but did have lunch in the restaurant which was lovely. The Pools were great. The only negative is that other guests get up early to 'book' a pool lounger and don't return for hours which prevents others of sitting.

We’ve stayed at Peppers Palm Cove twice before in the last 10 or so years. We were a little disappointed this time. The room was serviceable and clean but the resort as a whole seemed a bit faded and tired. Was sad to see the pool bar was there but not surrounded by water (ie couldn’t sit at the bar in the water). No complimentary bottled water which especially in that climate would be useful. The whole 2 beach towel in your room on departure was just annoying. No mimi bar - no room service. The restaurant area for breakfast looked like a cheap cafe. We did not eat at any of the facilities connected to the hotel. Staff were friendly, location is great, pool area itself great. Value - probably a bit overpriced.

Faultless! From checkin to checkout we were treated with excellent hospitality. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. There was plenty of room around the pools even though it always gets busy midday. The breakfast service was great. The only fault I could even mention was the coffees were a little slow. Otherwise the restaurant dinner at the resort was excellent as well.

Disappointed beyond words!

If I could have voted -5 stars I would have! What a disgrace. We paid more than $500 a night for a ‘Penthouse’ 1 bedroom suite….more like a dog house! The place was dirty, broken bench tops, stained furnishings and to top it off …a hair in the bed! We were on the 3rd floor, no lift and no view of anything other than a vacant piece of land with piles of dirt and rubbish…..some ‘Penthouse’. We had paid upfront in advance. When I took photos and showed management, they offered me 10% refund! You have to be kidding. We quickly looked to find alternative accommodation and luckily were able to get a luxurious one bedroom suite at Pullman Sea Temple for the same price. When I told Peppers we were leaving they said they would commit to 15% discount but only on the two nights we stayed. Seriously???? I know there’s times where the room might not have been cleaned properly for a while or the furnishings are tired but don’t charge $500 a night for it. Oh and if you should read this review Peppers…. You need to learn how to deal with complaints more appropriately. Offering us $150 refund on $2500 pre paid accommodation is disgraceful. No doubt you managed to re-book the three nights we didn’t use. Didn’t you do well out of the ‘Dog house’ that week!

The best accomodation in Palm Cove!

We had an amazing stay. We were originally assigned to the 3rd floor but with my wife 6 months pregnant, we asked if we could relocate to the first floor. The staff moved us the next day and we so helpful the whole trip! The pool/beach setup was amazing, perfect for our daughter. The swim up bar was great, the heated pool and spa were perfect! The room we stayed in were modern, spacious and well air conditioned. All in all i would highly recommend The Beach club to stay.
