Booked new years at Mantra On the Park last minute and so pleased I did. Checkin was so easy and the reception staff during our stay were absolutely lovely and so helpful. The room had a fantastic view over the park towards the bustling Broadbeach restaurant area. Very clean and really well appointed including full size fridge, oven and dishwasher. The balcony had 2 lounge suites and full size table. Perfect to watch the lorikeets in the trees and people below. As you’re surrounded by restaurants and bars it does get noisy, but close the doors and pop on the air con. The noisiest party is actually the lorikeets at dusk each night as they roost in the park trees each night. We booked last minute and compared to other hotels the cost was quite good. Definitely will book earlier next time though. Location is absolutely perfect. Smack bang in the middle of broadbeach’s entertainment district, across from oasis shopping centre, a block from the beach and short walk to Pac Fair.

Seriously Mold Issue! Do not stay here.

MOLD WARNING!! Do not stay here if you care about your health Before staying at Mantra, I saw a few reviews mentioning mold, but I didn’t think it would be that serious. After living here, I can say it’s much worse than what those reviews warned about, and it had a real impact on our health. My apartment had mold issues, and so did my friend’s apartment on a completely different floor. That alone made us feel like this wasn’t just one random room with a problem. Our ceiling was literally leaking, and the whole place felt damp. The AC unit in our room constantly leaked water down the wall and across the floor, and there was visible mold growing across the top of it. The air vents also had thick dust built up inside them, like they hadn’t been cleaned in years, and every time the system turned on it would push that dust straight into the room. There was visible mold on the blankets they provide as well. I attached multiple videos and photos to see exactly what was going on. With all of that happening at once, it honestly felt like there could be mold in places you can’t see, like inside the walls or behind the ceiling where the leaks were. If you look at the AC units outside they are all rusted and clearly never maintained. Multiple people in our group ended up with lung infections, needed antibiotics, and were even put on steroids just to get our breathing under control. I had chest tightness, headaches, and constant fatigue. Every time we left the building, our symptoms eased up, and every time we came back inside they hit us again. That pattern says everything. It got so bad that we had to stay in a hotel one night just to give our lungs a break and finally sleep somewhere with clean air. When we reported everything, nothing was actually fixed. Instead, management would come in and set off mold bombs without us asking or explaining anything. It didn’t solve the problem at all and honestly made us feel like they already knew something bigger was going on. The communication was just as bad. Messages went unanswered, concerns got brushed off, and we were left dealing with the health effects on our own. The photos and videos I attached show exactly what we lived with. If you care about your breathing, your health, or just want to stay somewhere safe and clean, I would not stay here. I really wish someone had warned me before I booked.

This is an amazing hotel I’ve stayed here many times over the years. The staff couldn’t be more helpful a special mention to the manager James Sweeney the and Lauren in reception. The facilities are 5 star offering a beautiful 25 metre indoor pool and spa and sauna. They also provide an outside pool and hot tub. Congratulations the Meriton Broadbeach.

Above and beyond service made my graduation ceremony worthy staying

I usally don't drop a review but I have to mention this stay. It was my special stay as my parents was here for my graduation ceremony of Grifith Uni. Checked in exactly 5pm and was disappointed with the second floor, just told the reception about my parent came here for special occation, the guy shown all his efforts to change the room and I was offered 1404. The reception serviced the room and made it ready. I was given a box of chocolates and water for the wait and finally checked in around 6pm. Wouldn't say it is the best hotel but the location was excellent. Also would definitely mention their team is top notch and highly keen to respect any request. Highly recommended stay. Thanks Tariq

Apart than Tariq and Corey the worst stay of my life

My husband and I we were warmly welcome by a true gentleman who makes this worst place feel like a 5 star. Tariq welcomed us with amazing hospitality which we didn't feel even in 5 stars and assured us the room 701 will be up to standard. It turned out totally the opposite. The apartment has got safety and maintenance concern. Sharp raised metal joints to lose and exposed electrical circuits, toilets lacked flush pressure. Cups and crockeries were damaged. The floor had stains on them and even the carpets look molded. Corey helped us sorting the room from changing it from 701 to 903 and then Tariq he carried our luggage and helped us to settle in. He denied taking $100 as a reward and Corey tried his best to make everything all right. He really deserves to be recognized, amazing work with Corey and such a great soul Tariq. The condition on the apartment affected my husband's health due to cold and stress, I requested the management to take down 701 and please don't ever accept that room. How weird the reception on Monday got changed and the behavior of the front girl is disgusting. She has got no respect whatsoever.
