Very comfy bed, strong wifi, good-sized room and bathroom. A little water spillage from shower but not too bad. Location super quiet and not too much about but a lot of amenities within walking distance and Central less than 10 minutes walk away. Staff really friendly.

I am an ACCOR Plus member and booked this through my membership. The concierge / manager is one state from being asleep and offered no assistance what so ever. It took 20 mins to get a coffee. There is no restaurant yet through Google maps I found places to eat after asking and being told to walk into town. Parking is offsite. The rooms are small yet clean. Bathroom severly dated. I do not think this should be promoted as an ACCOR site.

Room was really nice - 5 star Fire alarm went off during the night (12.30 am) and hotel was evacuated. As there were no staff on duty, guests milled around until firies left and returned to their rooms. No guidance given on what to do to evacuate or where to move to. Unfortunately, one lift of two was out or order and the lifts very slow, so it took a long time to get back to our room. No apologies from staff when we checked out. Hallways and lift all stunk of mould - almost gagging. Hotel took a $50 per night security deposit. Two weeks later and still not returned. We called and someone was meant to call back, but no response yet (6 hours). Accor terms and conditions advise a fee may be taken but is to be returned once full payment for room was made, not in addition to the room rate. Good thing we didn't stay for multiple nights as the security deposit could add up, limiting your holiday if there is a delay in getting it returned. Member of Accor, but website has no way to contact them. Overall customer service very poor. Check in was a corner of a bar. Attendant seemed flustered if multiple guests arrived at the same time. So, 5 star for the actual room and 1 star for everything else.

I had an awful experience with my airline as they had canceled my flight for New Years Eve very last minute. I arrived at Mantra Terrace Noah & Aamiron managed to A) Make me feel at ease in what was a very stressful situation B) Assist me in my ongoing travel arrangements C) Went out of their way to help me (Even to making calls from personal mobiles to New Zeland - Which I could not do on my UK Registered phone). This is my second stay at this location in the last couple of years, and I really like the interaction between staff and guests here. Efecitively they run the bar, check in, and anything else guest wise you might need. I feel Human interaction is often discouraged by managment. That certainly is not the case here. Full marks once again for professionalism and the way that an international traveller was handled. I think it would be great if they could implement breakfast at this location. But it is not the end of the world.

Mantra may not be competing with the luxurious executive hotels, but it is definitely better than many of them. Rooms are modern and perfect for that quick stay. Larger suites are perfect for longer stays or just because you want more space. The staff, what can I say... This is why I labelled this review "Happiness". They all meet you with a smile and can do attitude. Polite and responsive to your needs, even give their time just to say hi and have a chat. Thank you to Zoe and the magnificent team for making my stay feel like home, pure happiness...
