Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended! Mantra MacArthur Canberra is truly one of the best hotels in Canberra. We stayed for one night on 26th December and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The service was amazing with very friendly staff who were always ready to help and made us feel genuinely welcome. The breakfast was excellent, offering a great variety and quality. The hotel is in an amazing location, and the rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable, making our short stay extremely relaxing. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Canberra. Comfortable & ok, bit underwhelming

We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite, 3 nights, which was comfortable but not very clean. Bench was sticky, carpet stained and shower screen needed maintenance. The bed was comfy and linen & towels good, extra towels provided on request. All staff were polite and efficient, especially the bar staff. Check in was easy as an Accor member. Location adjacent to Light Rail stop is bonus for access to city and eateries. Food was ok at hotel, limited menu. Access to hotel front door by car is hidden from the street and tight. Carpark is next door and limited, but not expensive. There are no containers or implements for using the microwave. Had to request a sponge for washing up. Was reasonable quiet, no view accept of the apartments next door. Have stayed in better Mantra Hotels, place runs on a tight budget.

We booked through luxury escape for 2 nights and we had the deluxe studio. It was more like deluxe closet. We were expecting something bigger. The room was modern but needed a good dusting. The fridge and safe did not operate. Our room could not be serviced after the first night as we had booked through luxury escapes. Parking was at a premium costing $15 a night. If you did not get in early you would miss out. The location is a bit isolated. Staff were great and reasonable. Andrew
