Easy booking, easy check in, staff were happy to store our luggage until check in time. Definitely recommend 💯 Will stay again, would recommend to any and all potential customers. The gym pool and spa are awesomeness. Handy location, just a shirt walk from Chatswood train station. Plenty of food and entertainment venues. Ticks all the boxes.

Dishonest refund transaction

Dear Mantra Chatswood Team /- Fabio, Calaca, assistant manager. The promised refund never cleared (after your last correspondence) It is very disappointing to be firmly promised something, with numerous follow up calls/emails (as evidence) only for it never to happen. I don’t understand the apparent complexity in this other than the promised refund was never to be processed in the first place. I don’t appreciate the dishonesty. I hope you see my disappointment here as even your last email confirms an approved refund to be processed in 4-5 days over a month ago.. this is another month after the initial 14 day promised refund confirmation email. This is now going on for almost 3 months. Anyway… just wanted to bring this request to some sort of closure.

We always choose to stay at the Chatswood Mantra whenever we visit Sydney because of its consistent comfort and excellent service. However, during our latest stay, we noticed that housekeeping had forgotten to empty the bin from the previous guests. Despite this oversight, the location remains convenient, and the rooms are usually clean and well-maintained. We look forward to returning again in the future.

I stayed at the Mantra as it was part of the Accor group. It is not much better than a motel on a highway. The door lock was in bad condition, the room was bare minimum, towels not white .. the motel just felt so dirty. How can this be part of the Accor group? Worst, just as I got into bed at 11pm, this high pitched alarm came on twice. I have stayed at Meriton Suites before, which is newer and better. Mantra looks like they just took over an old motel and have not renovated it. I also paid almost $300 a night including parking!

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at Mantra at Chatswood Interchange Area. My family of three, including two adults and a five-year-old child, booked a five-night stay. On the first night, we were given a room designed for disabled individuals. However, the height of the bathroom facilities made it unsuitable for our daughter to use. We requested a room change, but the evening staff informed us that there were no available rooms and suggested a change for the following day. By the afternoon of the second day, we were moved to another room, but the air conditioning system was faulty, resulting in an uncomfortably hot room with a temperature display showing 29 degrees Celsius. We had difficulty sleeping on the second and third nights due to the heat. On the fourth day, we lodged a complaint with the front desk, but were informed that it was Sunday and no external staff were available for repairs. As a solution, we requested two fans, but they were both extremely dusty and dirty. We endured the heat on the fourth night, and on the fifth day, we confirmed with the front desk that the room would be repaired. The staff assured us that everything would be in order. However, when we returned to the room in the evening, it was still unbearably hot. We complained again, and after inspecting the situation, the staff offered to change our room and provide a refund. Unfortunately, as we were leaving Sydney the next morning, we couldn't change rooms. We agreed to the refund arrangement, and the assistant manager assured us via email that the refund process would be completed within ten working days. However, more than ten working days have passed, and the refund has not been processed. I am extremely disappointed with Mantra Chatswood and their handling of this situation.
