Ok but not for light sleepers

There's a bar or nightclub nearby that runs to the early hours. Not good for a light sleeper. Room size is good, kitchen is useful. But I only realized room noise at night after 10pm when the club starts and want in the mood to change rooms so late.

we had lovely weekend in Sydney the hotel closed to every were mall opera house tram stoppers front lobby .lovely hotel clean we will caming back the staffs are allways happy and friendly. the price is good in the middle city l recommended this hotel😁😁😁👍👍👍

Beds are extremely comfortable. Rooms are spacious. Hotel is well situated and staff are very attentive. We enjoyed our stay here and would book again in the near future. The location of the Mantra makes it in walking distance to everything from shopping malls, cafes to Sydney's famous attractions.

Great location and amenities Customer service very helpful when needed My only complaint was facing a brick wall which meant no outlook and also quite dim in the room. The overall lighting wasn't good. However, I was hardly there and wasn't really an issue

We are at the end of a 3-week Australia and New Zealand holiday and chose Mantra 2 for our last few days. We have stayed at 2-room suites in the CBD, Canberra and a major NZ city, and now here in The Rocks. This is the smallest of all of them, the only one to include only one bathroom (and a tiny one at that - you'll bang your elbows in the shower), the only one to offer only basic TV service (no international channels), the slowest internet, and only a kettle and instant coffee (the other hotels provided Nespresso machines). It is also by far the most expensive. And then the details. There is a step up into the bathroom - a huge tripping hazard. There is old dirt all around the bathroom doorframe (at least, I hope it's just dirt). The grouting is black and filthy in many places. The wood on doorframes and skirting is chipped in many places in the apartment. The fridge door handle is missing. The kitchen counter has no direct lighting. Plug sockets on either side of the beds have had the earth hole blocked - so I couldn't plug in my US==>AUS converter plug for my CPAP and had to use an extension cord. Hugely overpriced, poor quality and urgently in need of massive updating. Do not recommend.
