My partner & I called into Mantra on Bond Street after being enticed by the ‘Happy Hour’ signage at front of house! We were cheerfully greeted by Mel, whose smile & attentive nature made us feel welcome & at home. Our experience continued to get better once we received our cocktails, made with love by the skilful Sumesh! They were absolutely outstanding, the best we have had anywhere! On seeing us enjoying our drinks to the level we did, manager Vinnie approached & asked for feedback. This man is an absolute credit to Mantra, I believe he has been with the company for quite some time but today was his second day at this venue! Next time we’re in Sydney, Mantra on Bond is where we will be staying & enjoying the outstanding customer service that we experienced today.

We had our second stay at Mantra 2 Bond Street in a two bedroom apartment in July. We were very impressed by the generosity and flexibility of the check-in staff. We arrived early and dropped our bags and went out to lunch, but received a call from the hotel to tell us our room was ready and we could come in early. Additionally, we asked if the sofa bed could be made up as our daughter was flying in late that night and it would be good if she could stay with us before proceeding home the next morning. This was arranged with no problem and without any further charge for having one extra person for the night. This was much appreciated. Since last time we stayed at the hotel, a new wine bar has opened up in the foyer. It also does breakfasts and dinners. Our hotel rate included breakfast. The meals were a la carte, rather than buffet, and were tasty and well-presented. Unfortunately though, directly next to the hotel they were doing road work that involved a large jackhammer breaking up concrete and then an enormous vacuum cleaner that hoovered up large chunks of concrete and shot them into truck. The noise was extraordinary and although it was muffled when the front door was closed, the hotel is on a corner and the door automatically opens every time someone by. At eight o'clock in the Sydney CBD, people were walking by constantly. Although the meals and coffees were good, we couldn't get out of there soon enough. The apartment was not overly spacious or modern, but it was clean and well appointed and the beds were comfortable. The hotel itself is ideally situated for exploring Sydney. You can get a train from the airport to a short walk from the hotel without having to change trains. You can walk to the harbour at Circular Quay, or take the light rail from directly outside the hotel - it is one stop away. There are also a lot of places to eat nearby as well as a supermarket to buy food.

The hotel was great. Staff went out of their way to be accommodating. The comfortable suite was perfect with a nice kitchen and laundry facilities. Loved the location with easy walks to attractions and the ferry. Impressively, the room was very quiet in this busy part of town

We found the Mantra 2 Bond Street Sydney location was excellent with friendly staff, a spacious clean room with well equipped kitchenette, including good size fridge, stove, oven and microwave. The hotel is conveniently located at a light rail stop or you can easily walk to Circular Quay and ferries, The Rocks area, Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge all approximately 10-15 minutes walking. Sydney public transport is excellent with either trains, ferries or light rail available close to the hotel. Would definitely stay again.

Location is the excellent Walked to Art Gallery and visit to see new building. Could spend a day visiting with kids very places to sit and enjoy the view. Lots of places to buy food near apartment so a great opioid someone in group has food allergies or restrictive diet. Quay also close and tram stop outside so east to go anywhere from this location.
