Very expensive for what it is

This place is located close to CBD, however, there are lots of constructions going on around it and some roads are closed. The room was nothing special, we were only given 1 face towel for 2 people. It was more expensive than 5 star hotels per night and the parking fee was 35$ per night while nearby hotels charged only 15$. There is no breakfast facility or restaurant in the hotel. Overall too expensive considering it is not 5 star hotel.

July was indeed a peak period in Brisbane due to the Queensland school holidays and the British & Irish Lions rugby event, which occurs only once every four years. These high-demand events significantly impacted accommodation rates across the city, including ours. Regarding our parking, we understand that costs are an important consideration for travellers. While our $35 per night rate may have seemed high, it is actually the lowest available among CBD hotels—many others charge $45 per night. While third-party providers such as Wilson Parking may advertise lower rates, those are generally available only through pre-booking, and drive-in prices are often much higher. We're also sorry to hear you were only provided with one face towel. This does not reflect our usual standards, and we would have gladly rectified this had it been brought to our attention during your stay. Lastly, we were unable to locate your reservation in our system. It's possible your booking may have been under a different name or through a privately managed apartment within our building, in which case services and amenities can vary. I stayed here on a work trip in June 2025. Decent budget accommodation, but there are a few things to be aware of before you book. 1. In all apartments, the showers are over a deep bath, approx 50cm. You need to step in between two fixed panes of glass and steady yourself - there are no rails and no non-slip in the bath. The taps are at the far end. It is treacherous. I am able bodied and it felt unsafe to me. It would be impossible for anyone with mobility issues. 2. There are major construction works occurring immediately adjacent to the hotel. One night they stopped at 10pm but on the other they went though the night. 3. Two out of 4 lifts are broken and according to staff require a part that is not available. Not disastrous, but you can wait several minutes for a lift. 4. The common areas on the floors smell. I don't what of, but it just smells. My colleagues and I were all on different floors and reported the same. It's a bit dated and looks like it's been furnished from Facebook Marketplace (including the worn out mattress - thinks student accomm) but it was clean.

The Cross River Rail project adjacent to our property has impacted many local businesses, but we have been advised that the construction noise is expected to diminish significantly within the next 4 to 6 weeks. Regarding the lifts, we’re pleased to inform you that all four lifts are now fully operational, improving guest convenience throughout the building. Concerning the odour reported in the common areas, this is certainly not the experience we want for our guests. We will investigate this matter further with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to resolve it promptly. While the apartment furnishings may be dated, we are pleased to hear you found the accommodation clean. As a regular accord ‘user’ I was disappointed with the Mantra on Mary! The Rooms were very shabby! Drapes didn’t hand well, carpet scuffed up. Over shower bath was dangerous, on bath matt. The general appearance and condition was less than satisfactory. I will reconsider MANTRA Stays in the future!

Minimal Use.

It’s a very central hotel. If you walk through the casino you can acces south bank on foot. At night you can listen to the intense construction workers and machinery or the police sirens. The shower is a high step up over the bath. There was mould in my bathroom and shower. The carpets are very dirty and stained. Crockery available a hit and miss. Uneven. The lift is wonky. Under renovation.

Nightmare - Do NOT stay here

The carpet was visibly dirty and stained, the room key needed to be re cut 4 times to work, there was visible dirt on carpets, floors, surfaces. I would not stay here, parking is a nightmare - in the event that you do book/ secure it you will be met with tenants blocking the driveway/ access/ spaces/ driving dangerously. The staff were very friendly but couldn't do anything regarding the rooms not having having been cleaned. There is no food and construction work is 24/7. This was so bad i have asked it be removed from our corporate travel system. I've never stayed anywhere this dirty, i can now see multiple reviews regarding the need for cleaning to be reviewed - which means it's not been reviewed/ attended to after multiple pieces of feedback.
