Arrived and found the bathroom door was impossible to open The TV also did not work I reported this to maintenance and after 3 hours nothing was completed I phoned reception again and they advised they would move us I mentioned we had to go out and would return later that night When we returned, we were advised the room was no longer available for us to move to After explaining my disappointment we were moved to a suitable room Nothing was offered as compensation for the inconvenience, so disappointing I really do not want words back to effect sorry (no one had any idea how upset we really were)

A beautiful, practical and well-equipped hotel with only minor setbacks. Well executed rooms. Great facilities. Love the photos referencing the history of the area. Breakfast buffet could offer more variety.

Room was small. Couldn’t walk between bed and wall without shuffling sideways. Booked a queen room for two people. Only one chair available in room. Not much storage room. Only one bedside table pushed hard against the bed with sharp corners. Cut my elbow twice during the nights. Once each night. Air con very slow to respond and room felt claustrophobic and stuffy.
