Good rooms but service inconsistent

I recently stayed at Sebel Beach and had mixed experiences. The rooms are spacious, but cleanliness was an issue; the vacuuming clearly hadn't been done properly. The lift can be a hassle, especially when busy, and the stairs are hard to find. The bar on the top floor is a nice touch, occasionally featuring live music, but the pool is quite small. Onsite parking is convenient, though the reception staff could be friendlier. I wouldn’t recommend the dinner at the restaurant, as the food was below average. Breakfast was decent but service was slow. If you book a family package with breakfast included, be prepared for a confusing explanation about the offer. Overall, the stay was okay, but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you're okay with its shortcomings.

Amazing location, superb room with a sea view. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room serviced daily. The roof top bar and pool were lovely and had a great view of the ocean. Plenty of restaurants within 20 minutes walk, which was along the sea front which was really beautiful. Great value for money given we were travelling from the UK.

Nice hotel for exploring Redcliffe

Nice hotel in a great location for the beach and walking into centre of Redcliffe. Room was clean and well equipped, check in and check out efficient and had a nice cafe/bar, Sunnys, attached. Rooftop terrace had nice views particularly at sunset and the live music was nice. Only real feedback is staff in rooftop bar weren’t the most efficient or customer friendly. A bonus is the Redcliffe parkrun starts/ends a stone throw from the hotel. We’d definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location and vibe. Lovely boutique hotel with super friendly and helpful reception staff. Stylish room and well appointed bathroom overlooking the ocean with balcony. Very clean. Surprised there was no mini bar. The light from the microwave, TV, telephone/alarm clock and sensors on the ceiling illuminated the room at night. Take eye shades if you’re a light sleeper like me. Otherwise all very pleasant and would stay again

Hotel is in a wonderful location with beautiful views and close to public transport. Rooms (particularly waterfront ones) are nice and roomy with good facilities. With no “Accor” restaurant this is disappointing and the on-site restaurant Sunny’s lets the hotel down. Meals are restricted and menu is odd.
