Good location and staff but uncomfortable stay

Staff were helpful and friendly but despite having tried four different rooms I found them quite uncomfortable. One had a non working aircon and the other three had strong mould smell

Regarding the quality of the room, it is spacious but it ends there. Furniture is old, bathtube with dirty courtains, no blankets (only by request). Gym seems not be cleaned daily, machines old and maintanance not up to date. Breakfast is not bad, but not excellent at all. Hotel staff is friendly. In general, hotel is far from Grand Mercure brand standards.
