The A/C was so noisy we could not sleep and didn't cool the room down at all and couldn't be fixed !!! The hotel had NOT stated that repairs were being done while we were staying so drilling started at 0800 above our suite every morning !! Disgusting !!! and ours was an ocean view suite!!! The breakfast was terrible and the pool could not have been smaller!! 0 stars!!! The reception lied and told me the A/C had been fixed but nothing changed!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

The hotel has a good location at Boa Viagem and has a good breakfast, but that is about it. Given the price, and standard, I am very disappointed with the stay. I am aware the hotel is undergoing a full re-do, and it looks like the new bedrooms are great, but we were given an old one which definitely compromised the experience. This refers to unit 712, with some specifics: 1. The bedroom general maintenance was poor. The painting (which was clearly another coat) was very poorly made, with marks in corners. It just looked badly finalized. This goes for the doors, around the lamps and ceiling. Also, the walls under the mirror by the entrance are tainted in a black that looks like some sort of fungus to say the least. 2. The overall conservation of furniture and pieces were far below standard. From the sofa corner, damaged to the blackout curtains with holes in it. 3. The noise of the side/above bathroom is loud. There was someone using the shower in an adjacent bathroom and the sound was as if it was inside this room. I would have never stayed at this hotel for this standard. It is a pity, because of its good location and because Accor is known for good quality and value for money.
