Great stay at the Movenpick. I had a fantastic meal in the restaurant. Vidi helped me to pick some local dishes and explained the food to me as I had never been to Indonesia before. Great service and perfect recommendations by him. I look forward to visiting again

Great hotel with great facilities and excellent service. I got a last-minute upgrade to room 1905 with a city view. The room is clean and big enough for me. Breakfast is great and has many options. They give afternoon tea that's so nice after a hectic meeting all day. It really made my day. thank you for all of the staf for being so helpful and great service

VERY CLEAN, WELL DESIGNED. Large size room, giant size bed, clean, comfort. Windows are great sound proofed, so traffic noise doesn't matter at all. Breakfast quality is decent. Thanks to restaurant staff Ms Dhea for serving us very very well. Location is a bit far from city center

A great stay in Movenpick Surabaya City. Clean and comfortable rooms with great AC and wifi. The team are super friendly and the breakfast is a delicious spread. We even enjoyed a massage and a dip in the pool. Location is convenient, close to the airport and in the business district. Thanks so much team!

This is definitely not a hotel catered to foreigners. Firstly, the toilet was not clean. There were molds on the shower tray wall. Toilet bowl had some faeces stuck and had NO BIDET SPRAY. Hotel manager insensitively said only suites have bidet spray. So the rest who have gotten a less premium room have to wash their backside at the shower tray. Breakfast has limited variety and it was not even palatable except for sandwiches set. Although we informed the restaurant that we do not eat beef, they still served us sandwiches with beef and lied that they are not beef. We tld the staff to double check before confirming and it turned out to be beef. Upon learning abt the incident, the manager Cicik was kind enough to prepare breakfast for us the following day with chicken sandwiches. However, history repeated itself for the following day's breakfast. This shows that the manager did not brief her staff. Additonally, we asked for a bucket of ice at night. At first, they said that the bar was closed so there was NO ICE. After further explanation and multiple requests, they provided a bowl of ice. When we feedback why it was not served in a metal container, then eventually a metal bucket of ice was served.However, there were some pleasant times like they did serve me cake and small deco for my birthday. I do appreciate those gestures but overall the service was just mediocre. I will not say this is a 5 star hotel. To be very honest, it is a hotel to cater for transit purposes.
