The resort is part of the Angsana Complex with several various good restaurants, golf course as well as all kinds of activation and wellness facilities. It has a beautiful setting, and a tropical feel of secluded location, yet still close enough to urban areas – only a short drive away. On each stay, we have grown fonder with the place, let alone the always helpful and smiling staff, who keenly try to help, and be of any assistance if needed. Suffice to say; the people at Banyan Tree very much make our stay at the resort to a wholesome experience for us. Our host: Mrs. Bich which we had the pleasure with all three years, has become more of a very good friend to us. We have shared many enjoyable moments with her and her lovely family both at the resort, as well as outside the resort. Ms. Bich is a lovely person and character; she’s very service minded, answers to all our request no matter the quest or the hour, she has a very good sense of humor and always loves a good laugh. Mr. Thien, who’s tending the bar “Thu Quan”, is another character we have known for three years. He has become a very competent creator of a great variety of cocktails, using local and conventional spirits infused with local herbs, some added extra umami, such as soya, chili and even shrimp salt. Mr. Thien experiments with many different herbs, spices and fruits to flavor and infuse the spirits; thus, some very tasty cocktails appear on the menu. He is quite competent and has a very good eye to which flavors works well together. Cocktails ranging from light fresh cooling cocktails that goes straight down after a long hot day at the beach, and cocktails with depth and taste you would picture yourself with in a cozy sofa, after a good meal and in front of a warming fire – and a lot of cocktails in between, that unfortunately, we didn’t had time to taste them all. Noteworthy is also the always elegantly dressed resort manager Mrs. Dao, who loves to drop by our breakfast table for a cheerful chat, and with a genuine interest in our wellbeing. Mrs. Dao loves a good laugh as well, so we also love to chat with Mrs. Dao. A quick mention goes for Hai from the morning breakfast team, who beside from tending us with breakfast and perfect eggs, certainly impressed us with a side of creativity making decorations using various materials and placing them at our table or in our room, and which now adorn at our home sideboard. A big thanks to all other staff members not mentioned here – your contribution counts a lot for us and our stay.

My husband and I had an unforgettable experience at The Banyan Tree in Vietnam. From the moment we arrived, our host, Mi, made us feel exceptionally well cared for. We stayed in a beautiful beach pool villa, which was tastefully decorated and featured a private pool and hot tub. The staff consistently went above and beyond to make our stay memorable—one particularly special touch was when they created a "babymoon" display in our room with towels, and surprised us with a cake and a fresh fruit platter to celebrate my pregnancy at 20 weeks. The resort's inclusive activities were also a highlight, with yoga, meditation, and an embroidery workshop that we thoroughly enjoyed. The food across the three on-site restaurants was of the highest quality and never failed to impress. We truly hope to return in the future for another incredible stay!

We came to do the cocktail class, drinks are very nice and the staff are very friendly. The drinks turn out really good!! We had a lot of fun making the hot chocolate and it was great for the kids and the cocktail shaking was quite an experience, so much fun!

We ended our two week holiday to Cambodia and Vietnam at the Banyan Tree and it really was the icing on the cake for us - the crème de la crème. Chosen for my husband’s birthday. The villa had the best views inviting us to wake up to the sunrise each morning and watching the sun disappear as the moon shone brightly. Peaceful and meticulous in all the details in the villas, with our dedicated hotel staff Bich being very attentive to all of our needs, ensuring that we were comfortable and had an enjoyable stay. Bich also kindly organised a birthday cake to the villa which was very much appreciated. The perks in the rooms include the extremely soft /comfortable beds, the nicest of robes with slippers, fresh fruit and cake. Each night we were left biscuits near the beds with a gift which was a beautiful gesture. Lots to do if you wish to keep busy such as bike riding around the resort and all the classes on offer (fishing, coffee making, meditation etc). The pool at Angsana also offers fun for the kids if they wish to use the slides and attend the foam party so you can venture out to the sister hotel. On the food, love love love the breakfasts - varied, fresh and healthy options. The dinners have also been enjoyable even if on the more pricier side than when you are used to eating out in Hoi An or Danang. Overall, a wonderful and memorable stay.

We’ve had the pleasure of doing a cocktail-making class with Thien, and it was honestly such a fun and memorable experience! He was knowledgeable, engaging, and made sure everyone felt involved (and a little fancy with our cocktail-shaking skills). We’ve also visited the bar a few times, and we got to try a few of his signature cocktails. His attention to detail, friendly nature, and the way he goes above and beyond for every guest really stands out. The service is always incredible. Highly recommend!
