Had an amazing time at Rixos Seagate, staff so friendly and accommodating really can’t do enough for you. Tarek from the entertainment team made us feel so welcome and we had lots of fun with him and the team. Hotel spotless and very good amenities, a lovely hotel.

I’ve heard great things about the Rixos chain, but our stay didn’t quite live up to expectations. We usually travel to Mexico or the Caribbean, so maybe we’re a bit spoiled ,still we expected more from a 5 star resort. Check-in: The process took longer than necessary because other staff kept interrupting the person helping us. It also seemed our room was swapped last minute, as it was decorated with birthday decorations meant for someone else and extra pull out Ed’s. Even the concierge looked confused. Alcohol: Drinks were inconsistent. I ordered the same cocktail (New Star) at three different bars, and each one looked and tasted different. Several spirits listed on the menu weren’t available either. Service: Our biggest disappointment. At the buffet, we weren’t greeted or offered drinks until halfway through our meals unless we went to the bar ourselves. The lobby bar had waiter service, but we were only approached by the manager when it was obvious we’d been overlooked. On the positive side, the X Lounge Beach Bar was fantastic with impeccable service and attentive staff who kept our drinks topped up. This is the level of service we expect at a 5 star hotel. Restaurants: We tried four à la carte restaurants (People’s, The Mangal, L’Olivio, and La Churrascaria). The Brazilian food was excellent, but the service lagged, and several tables left before dessert. If food is being served on skewers, staff should explain what’s being offered and check for allergies. Kids’ Club Livestream: Our TV had four livestream channels showing the kids’ club. Knowing anyone in the hotel could watch children playing was disturbing , and if we had kids, we wouldn’t feel comfortable using it. Overall, the hotel has real potential but the inconsistent service let it down. We were happy to tip and did so when service was good, but we needed the service first. Unfortunately, we agreed we wouldn’t want to return.

Where do I even begin? This hotel is nothing short of INCREDIBLE. I'm going to break everything down to explain just how special it is. First of all. The kids club. We have two daughters aged 7&5, we've never really used kids clubs when we go away because our girls can be a bit weary of people's they dont know.. but ALL of the staff at Rixy kids club were absolutely amazing. They all gave so much love, care and attention to our girls and made them feel so special 🥹. I have nothing but praise for all of the staff and want to thank them all personally , they even gave our girls a rucksack as a keepsake when we (very reluctantly) had to come home! Next.. the food. WOW.. the main buffet is split over two floors and EVERYTHING from the salad, fruit, pastries, desserts, hot food was exceptional. I could not fault a thing in the main buffet, service was great too and all the staff were so attentive... Let's talk about the al a cart restaurants. We visited the people's restaurant, aisan, Turkish, Brazilian, greek, mangal (outside BBQ) and the Greek (you have to pay extra.. but so worth it). Every single one was beyond special and so unique. The food, service and atmosphere was 10/10. But book quick!! The spaces do go quickly. The room. We were lucky enough to receive a free upgrade and had the suite with sofa and armchair. It was absolutely SPOTLESS. our cleaner Muhammad Mustafa - was so brilliant and works so hard! We were on room 2202. Mini bar restocked free of charge Daily and the bed!! Wow it was sooooo comfy. Pools - so many times choose from. You will not be bored! We visited all of them and the lifeguards are brilliant, they bring you towels and toys/arm bands for the kids! Water park was also amazing 😍 👏🏻 Gyms & spa You have THREE to choose from. All incredible and you can even train and watch the sunrise. (Very special) The spa was equally as amazing . We did have a Turkish bath and it cost $100 for two off us which was very good value. Evening entertainment. Amazing, brilliant DJ and shows after. Nothing to fault here we were immuresed!!! Drinks - we don't really drink alcohol but my partner said the mojitos were brilliant and mixed with precision. I mainly drank water and there was lots all.over the resort in little fridges. This hotel is MASSIVE. But if you struggle with walking there are lots of mini buses that will take you where you need to go. We walked and did 20+k steps daily 😂 Overall We've fallen in love with this hotel. The people, the location. Our first visit to Egypt and it will not be our last!!! Hopefully we see you again next year. Thank you so so much to the most magical stay. Memories to last forever 🥹

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights at end of November, and all I can say is you won't be disappointed. It's probably one of the best, if not the best hotel in the Sharm el Sheikh region. The hotel is amazing and its facilities top notch (bedrooms, restaurants, bars , swimming pools spa and entertainment stages) . However what really sets this place apart is the service from the staff (who were always happy to ensure that we were taken care of ). I will like to give special mention to following staff who made our trip extra special, Oskana (guest relations supervisor) who sorted out any issues we had during our stay, Binay (Asian Restaurant manager) who accommodated us at his restaurant at short notice , Mina (Peoples Restaurant manager) who made sure our evening meal on departure date would be ready promptly (and actually took our order prior to restaurant opening) so we could make our airport transfer in time . Also we received great service from the following staff Mohamed Fasad (at the Front Desk) , Mustapha (Food Court Chef/Manager) who made special Burgers for us at Lunch (because we are Vegan) and lastly our housekeeper, I'm not sure if I got his name right Mohammed Odena (who cleaned our room 11106) and always checked daily if we needed anything. In summary this is a great hotel however I 'm making a couple of suggestions which I think would have elevated our experience . Offering one a la carte restaurant at lunch would be great (similar to your sister hotel Rixos Adult - who do this at their Salt restaurant). Also offering a welcome drink to guest ( and maybe warm towel ) at Check in would be appreciated - and not just a decanter at the entrance offering self service . Mr Roy
