Great hotel. Friendly staff members. Superb facilities and moments away from that sandy golden beach. We stayed at the Novotel beach resort. Israa from the team, from the outset, was particularly helpful. She guided us around the hotel and helped us find where everything was.she made the experience a great one. Definitely coming here again.

This was our first time to Egypt and Novotel (Beach Side) made the holiday wonderful. We emailed the Reservation Manager, Ehab, ahead of time as my husband struggles with walking. Ehab arranged the best room for us on the ground floor. The bed was amazing - extra large and so comfortable - even the pull-out bed my son was on was comfortable. Our room had USB ports, one UK plug socket, air-con & a free safe. The hotel grounds are beautiful and felt very safe - we could walk directly onto the beach during the day, where there were plenty of sun loungers and fresh towels. The hotels private beach seemed wide when compared to others. A walk through sand into the sea led to a wonderful house reef with some fantastic snorkelling. We were all-inclusive and ate outdoors in the restaurant area daily. The staff there work so hard. We got to know one of the waiters a little. His name is George and he is such a kind man - Nothing was too much trouble. The evening entertainment was good on 4 of our 7 nights. The other nights were karaoke, which isn't for us, but the many Russians at the hotel seemed to enjoy it. The food was ok but not really to UK tastes. We had ice in our drinks and ate salads with no problem. We only used bottled water to brush our teeth. The alcohol was also not great. I read on a forum to take your own from duty-free so we will do so next time. The hotel made our week very special. We hope to go again one day, and will stay at Novotel again.
