Expensive for what it is and not adapted at all for business travels I stayed several times in this hotel which try to have position of boutique hotel having the only advantage to be nearby Zürich HB station and after several attempts , I must admit that the value for money is very poor. Long wait at the reception without enough staff to check in /out quickly In the room the work space is very small and uncomfortable…you do not have a chair but you have to seat on a bench seat without back support. Mini bar / coffee is not systematically refilled when you stay several days and it’s not a coffee espresso machine but filtered coffee you have to do yourself! TV has only German and English programs (nothing in French)… As well last time I was there between 10th and 11th December, the bar was occupied privately by a company and then they do not serve you drinks even if you are customers

The entire staff was friendly and attentive, especially Nina (front office team), who went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. When there was an issue with our room, she immediately stepped in to help and resolved everything quickly. Thank you so much!

The hotel is not far away from Zurich HB. Good place to walk as you will pass by several location like google office, food scene and cafes. Note the hotel is next to red light district, which at night is a happening place but so far the rooms are quiet and yes comfortable. There is a few options for dining and amazing bars at the hotel lobby, good for meeting people or have a good chitchat with friends. The staff are friendly, open to answer any questions you have and happy to assist. Had a chance to try their weekend brunch and good selection of menus available. Overall, good for enjoyment over the weekends or transit between cities after Zürich. Period of stay October and November 2024.

First stay at 25hours Hotel Langstrasse

This was our first time staying at the 25hours Hotel Langstrasse. The location is convenient, near the train station, though it does require a bit of a walk. Noise levels were acceptable when the windows were closed, contrary to some reviews. However, if you open the windows to air out the room, the noise becomes more noticeable. Having stayed at many 25hours hotels, we found the customer experience here disappointing. Upon arriving around 1 PM, we attempted to check in to the Large Room we had booked, but the Front Desk informed us it wasn’t ready and we’d need to return at 3 PM, the standard check-in time. They don’t allow pre-check-in, so the process can only be completed once the room is ready. We decided to have lunch at the hotel’s restaurant, Neni. The food was decent, though overpriced. When we returned at 3 PM, the room was still not ready due to housekeeping delays, and only regular rooms are ready for check in. The staff explained that, because of my Accor Platinum status, they had assigned a higher-floor room, which was why it wasn’t ready yet. However, even when they checked for similar rooms on lower floors, none were available. If loyalty status is truly valued, they could have prioritized cleaning the reserved room. Eventually, we were able to check in at 3:42 PM. During check-in, we were informed that, as part of their eco-friendly initiatives, rooms would not be cleaned unless specifically requested. While we fully support sustainability efforts, the overall experience gave the impression that this policy might stem from staffing challenges rather than environmental concerns. Adding to the frustration, the receptionist claimed there was an outstanding balance on my account, even though I was certain everything was fully paid in advance. Despite showing her my booking confirmation, which clearly stated "Amount to Pay at the Hotel: 0 CHF," she insisted otherwise. Later, after reviewing all my payment records, I returned to the desk. Only then, after a thorough check, did she finally acknowledge that the booking was indeed fully paid. So do ensure you keep your payment receipts handy just in case you encounter the same. This was far from the level of service one would expect, especially for a Platinum member. Overall, the experience fell well below the standards we’ve come to associate with the 25hours brand.
