Not enough staff and gave up waiting to be seated for breakfast as no one in attendance after 15 minutes. Asked front desk - told colleague was to busy and to keep waiting. Kept waiting - gave up. No late checkout capacity - asked for 11am - fully booked so no, didn't look that busy and no facilities to be able to work while waiting for a later flights.... Bedrooms against a main road and sirens late at night are disturbing.

As for the noise from the main road, we appreciate your comments but unfortunately they are out of our control but do understand it can be disturbing late at night. The hotel has the distinct advantage - well located (just about 8 -10 minute walk to the town center). The front line manager Ruby is very warm, responsive and helpful which is definitely the asset of the Group, and star of the hotel. Other than these, the hotel has nothing impressive. The room cleanliness needs improvement. During our 5-day stay there, the waste bins were not cleared and floor carpet not vacuum cleaning every day.

I stayed on either side of a Larapinta trip. The room the second time faced the street and I must say there was considerable noise. It was also difficult to get the shower temperature and pressure right. Beyond these minor complaints the Mercure was fantastic value for money, spacious, great walking distance from shops and car hire, and really friendly helpful staff.
