This is a great, funky city centre hotel. The breakfast is a bit dear but the quality and range of food on offer is incredible, and the view overlooking Cologne is wonderful. I thought our room was well-designed, with a wonderful, powerful shower even on the 7th floor. I loved the space/sci-fi feel and touches.

This place is great. It has character, comfort, facilities, good location, and great rooms. (I stayed in a "gigantic" room, and I recommend it: it's worth the extra.) I've stayed in many places in Cologne, and this is the best value; I've stayed many places across many different countries, and this rates very highly. It's quirky, but enjoyably so. I'll be staying there again, no question.

This hotel is all about ‘cool’. No customer service to speak of, no proper bar or cafe and a generally cold feel and vibe. Not for anyone who appreciates comfort and service
