Dear Lynnemariestewart66, Once again we're sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. As we’ve already discussed via email, we’d like to address the points you raised to provide some clarification. The room you stayed in was indeed a Large Room, as described on our booking portals. We understand that room size is subjective, but the dimensions and furnishings are transparently displayed online for all guests to review prior to booking. Regarding the light switches and sockets: they are fully functional and designed to blend harmoniously into the room’s aesthetic, which is a signature of our hotel’s style. While this may not suit everyone’s preference, they are not hidden and are easily accessible. Our minibar includes complimentary sweets, water, a Fritz-Kola, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beers. As mentioned in our previous communication, we’re always happy to accommodate requests for alternatives, which we also did during your stay. The outdoor area is public space, and while we strive to keep our immediate entrance tidy, we cannot control activity or debris in public areas. Similarly, the construction work you referenced is a city project, entirely beyond our control. Your room was located in the courtyard side of the building, which is typically quieter, and we received no complaints of noise from you during your stay. Regarding your comments about customer service, we always aim to provide a welcoming and attentive experience for all guests. While we regret that you felt otherwise, we did respond to your concerns promptly and in detail. My goal was to address your points constructively and apologize where appropriate. Lastly, Christoph Hoffmann is no longer the CEO of our company but serves in an advisory capacity. I can assure you your correspondence was taken seriously, even if the outcome didn’t align with your expectations. Once again, we are truly sorry that we were unable to meet your standards. We value all feedback, as it helps us improve, but we also believe it’s important to clarify misunderstandings where they occur. We wish you all the best in your future travels. It’s great to hear you enjoyed our prime location in the heart of Munich and appreciated being so close to the main train station, theaters, shopping spots, and dining options. We’re thrilled our central setting added convenience to your stay and made it easy for you to explore all that Munich has to offer. We understand your concerns about the surrounding area near the post office and public square. Unfortunately, as this is a public space, it’s not directly within our control. However, we are committed to the safety and comfort of all our guests, so please know that we have security personnel on-site every afternoon and throughout the evening to help ensure a welcoming environment. As for the room design, we aim to create spaces that balance comfort with a unique minimalist style, focusing on what our guests need most, like a big, comfortable bed. All room details and amenities are transparently shared across booking platforms to give an accurate picture of what each room offers. We're sorry to hear you weren’t able to enjoy the sauna this time—if you return, our team would be happy to assist you in making the most of all our facilities.
