Stayed here for four nights on holiday . The reservation people were friendly and very helpful, especially as I had to change the dates at one point. Ditto the persons on the desk at arrival and departure. Our ground-floor room was quite large, the bed fairly comfortable. The sole window looked out on to an alley directly across from the Tourist Information building. Not exactly picturesque, but handy. Some of the downsides -- all of the lights in the room -- including those over the bed -- were fluorescent and thus very glaring and very bright. The bathroom, including the shower, was large and well-appointed, but the shower is entirely covered in very slippery tiles. There was no grab bar or anything to put on the surface to avoid slipping. Hazardous for anyone, but particularly for older guests. Housekeeping was prompt , though one afternoon we returned to find the room had been made up but there were no towels. (Quickly supplied when we requested them.) Eating: One dinner, one room service, and a breakfast. The restaurant is quite attractive, but the food -- considering the price -- was a 6 on a scale of 10. Location -- is at the far end of town; parking on-site, but limited and tight. There's a small grocery store cum bottle shop directly across from the front entrance. One last thing: Foxtel! Every other motel we stayed in -- including the smallest and most modest -- on our ten-day road trip had You Tube/Netflix and other streaming services. Foxtel is past its used-by date.

The roof top bar has an amazing ambience. The staff stood out especially Peter who was very friendly,welcoming and articulate with his words. Gladys was soo amazing, she directed us to our seats and made out stay comfortable. Would definitely recommend to my friends.
