Not only is parking $23 per night, it was unavailable as you can’t book it. The aircon does not work and the rooms are very stuffy and uncomfortable to sleep. Amenities were supplied but bring your own conditioner. No smart tvs but you can screen share as long as you have a Samsung phone. Staff were lovely and the rooms are clean.

Centrally located so tours do pick up at the hotel, the pool and sauna were great to recover after a day trip amd the restaurant had a good selection.

We stayed 5 nights as part of a tour booked by a third party. Thankfully we got an upgrade to a King room. The rooms are new but basic, everything worked well. IMVHO the hotel is at least 1 block too far from town, limiting eating options and as Hobart is hilly, another uphill block to walk. The restaurant was good, but as it specialized in Asian meals, which were excellent, lacked variety. While is was a good stay, I would not have chosen it.
