First of all, the hotel staff are very well-trained. When we arrived, there was a small issue, but the lady at the reception handled it perfectly and solved everything within 10 minutes. She even gave my son a drink as a kind gesture for the small mistake — which was really thoughtful. Sometimes it’s not the problem itself that matters, but how it’s handled — and they did an excellent job. The only funny thing was… why is there no door in the bathroom? 😄 Overall, definitely recommended!

Good hotel, higher price range, issue with room reservation

The hotel was fine and clean. On the higher price range, probably a bit overpriced for the limited services. For example, no hotel parking, no gym, no pool. Breakfast was great though expensive. Customer management suboptimal thoigh. Because we would arrive late, around 22pm, I called the hotel around 16pm to inform them, out of politeness, of our late arrival. The room had been booked and reserved weeks before. I even used the hotel website, not booking, for my reservation. The staff let us know late arrival was no problem and that our room was secured. She would even leave a not at the reception for the next receptionist. To our surprise, just 5 minutes prior to arrival (by 21:55) we were called by the hotel that are room was no longer available because they thought we had only booked it half an hour before and needed the room for someone else as they were fully booked. In the end they found us a roon anyway (so it wasn't fully booked?) and everything was sorted out. Quite a frustrating experience nevertheless and no real apologies afterwards. Probably an internal mistake, but still not one that should be made.

Quiet location

Quiet location, looks like a residential area, but the city centre can be reached within 10/15 minutes thanks to 2 bus stops nearby, and the tram stop is about 10 minutes walk away. Decent room, nice bathroom, my only criticism is the shower: there's a half glass door and it is not possible to close it. Apart from this, an overall good experience

The place was cozy and comfortable, with a bus station immediately outside, making it very convenient. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend it for a short stay.

The hotel is along a quaint street that's almost like uninhabited on a Sunday. I like that there's a bus stop right at the doors that helps with getting around easily. But there's essentially nothing much in the surroundings.  The hotel reception is at the bar, one may mistaken it for the bar counter instead. The lobby has a bar vibe, I guess much in line with the brewery history of this building. Room is a little small for 2 persons, leaves little space for moving around if 2 luggages are opened concurrently. I like the open wardrobe concept but I don't get why the electrical sockets need to be hidden behind the side table. The room is also generally very dim and dark, even with all lights switched on. They also provide a bottle of drinking water, just 1 per day and additional bottles are chargeable. Which I felt was a little rigid considering how expensive a room night costs here.  The toilet is separate from the shower area which does not have a door. The standing shower has no shower curtain and is half covered, where the water just spills all over outside of the shower area. The bed is firm and comfortable but pillows are too soft for my liking, hardly any support. Room is always clean, kudos to the housekeeping team. Overall, an acceptable stay, but pricey.
