Lovely hotel with beautiful views of the city (from at least some public areas), for which we paid over EUR200 more when booking 3 rooms. We got the rate from Agoda through the Tripadvisor site. I've attached a picture of that view as well as one fo the view we actually had from our rooms. After contacting Agoda and sending them proof of the false booking, I received a quick response infromaing me they had no intention of correcting it. My advice to anyone using the Agoda site is simply not to.

Friendly staff welcomed us and immediately told us we had been given an upgraded room so that we could view the fireworks from the city festival. Had a superb view overlooking the city. Also sampled the bar on the top floor, very relaxing, Would happily stay again.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The welcome was both warm and professional. The room was spacious and equipped with all the amenities one could wish for. And then there’s the bar — a fantastic view, but even better cocktails! Perfectly prepared by passionate bartenders who clearly love what they do. We’ll most certainly be coming back for our next stay in Luxembourg.

We had a lovely stay at the Sofitel Hotel. The staff were truly exceptional—professional, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made our experience feel genuinely special. The hotel itself has a stylish, modern atmosphere, though we found the room design to be a bit off for our taste. Nothing bad though While we did enjoy our stay overall, we felt that the price was a little high for what it offers, especially when compared to similar properties. Still, the top-notch service and overall comfort made it a positive experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it—especially to those who value great hospitality.

I spent 3 nights at this very nice and very conveniently-located Sofitel Luxembourg Le Grand Ducal, after a previous and very nice stay at the same Sofitel two years ago. Again, I enjoyed there a delightful and pleasant stay, with a very friendly and helpful staff, doing their best to make sure I could enjoy a pleasant and remarkable stay. I could indeed relax, make the most of my stay and and visit the City of Luxembourg, including also attending the great event of the ING Night Marathon in Luxembourg City. I also trained in their small but sufficiently-equipped gym, thanks to the contact of a very good personal trainer and fitness instructor,, provided by the efficient and comprehensive Chef Concierge: a private coach and fitness trainer I would certainly recommend. I really had an amazing trip to Luxembourg, thanks to the nice, friendly and always caring staff of Sofitel Luxembourg Le Grand Ducal. The Sofitel Luxembourg Grand Ducal also offers an amazing breakfast buffet: it is quite unique, as I have never seen such a complete buffet, including delicious pastries and also healthy and great food offering, all home made by the chefs and cuisine staff of Sofitel Luxembourg Le Grand Ducal. I also enjoyed a dinner at the Mu Restaurant and lunch at the Bar L'Observatoire with again a very pleasant and always helpful staff, and not forgetting the amazing views overlooking Luxembourg's Petrusse Valey and the City. Globally, my stay at Sofitel Luxembourg Le Grand Ducal was very enjoyable, pleasant and met my full expectations. I shall come back for sure, in the coming few months.
