Novotel Suites Colmar Centre 4 estrelas

Picked the Novotel Colmar in order to obtain Accor benefits and points and this was one of few hotels with a fitness room. We arrived relatively early and was told our room was not ready even though we hadn’t even told anyone our name. Hmmm. We checked in after lunch and I was given a welcome amenity of a pain d’epices air freshener. I actually thought it was soap but when I got home and actually read the package, realized my mistake. Nice gesture and actually was more useful than soap for me :) The room was very spacious and was pleased that there was a tub separate from the shower as well as a separate toilet closet. The toiletries are eco friendly and quite nice- it was some sort of zen-karma brand. Bed was comfortable and what I love about Novotels (at least the ones I have stayed at as of late) is that they provide water and a mini fridge for chilling your own provisions (read: wine). There was an Illy coffee pod machine and a kettle for tea. The room was also very quiet with room darkening shades. And I loved the convertible chair/chaise lounge. Looks like the next Novotel we are staying at in Krakow has the same…must be a Novotel thing! We used the very small fitness room each morning which was functional (not often the case in small European hotels). Only one morning was there another guest but I only waited about a minute for the one elliptical. There were towels and a water fountain which was nice. The location was within easy walking of petit Venice and the train station. All the staff were cordial. The only one quirky thing (besides the denied early check in) was that my welcome Accor loyalty drink was only good for one drink though there were two of us. This is the first time I have had that “restriction” at any Accor property. We didn’t do breakfast but looked pretty popular. And there was a pantry where you could buy snacks and local products. Check out was easy but when I got home noticed an extra 4 euro charge from the bar…in addition to the drink for my husband that was charged. Not going to fight it but would’ve been nice to have had the opportunity to check the bill before leaving. It went to my email and they didn’t print it out…guess I should’ve insisted on seeing it before departing. It’s a no frills place but I would recommend and would return if I ever came back to Colmar.

We visited Colmar over Easter 4 years ago as a couple, and decided to bring the kids with us one day when they would appreciate it, as we loved it so much.. The Hotel was perfect. Friendly and really very helpful staff, wonderful location, clean comfortable and modern rooms, really good value. What more can you ask for...? They want to come back next year !!!

We booked this hotel for our pre Christmas vacation and the experience was just amazing. The room was big, very comfortable, warm and super clean. The shower space was big and clean. Staff was polite, friendly, careful. They welcomed us with mulled wine and ginger bread cookies. Breakfast was so also very good. Location is excellent. I definitely recommend this Hotel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The location is super , because is near the dowtown .The Service , and staff of hotel is very polite and speak English very well .... The room is very large,clean ,very suite confortable. Breakfast is tasty and simple : But so good ! I hope to came again in the future! Thanks for welcoming.

Just stayed here for 3 nights and it was a really good experience. Hotel rooms were large and functional. Easy walking to Colmar town centre. The hotel reception was very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended hotel if you do come to Colmar.
