Very nice place, very clean, helpful and friendly staff. Service was excellent, good location. Wife connection was good, restaurant was nice but no vegan options except salad. Next time travel to Belem I will choose same place.

Booked this hotel some time ago and agreed to pay an extra charge for the 3rd person. Confirmed this by booking, but by check out the management would not accept this agreement and excuse themselves. This 3rd person ended up, costing nearly the same as the internet rate for the same nights, except from a very small discount after complaning. Aircondition is old and is ok cool during the daytime, but in the nights it could not cool down the room. Maybe the capacitive is too limited, when more rooms are using it. Very nice Italian restaurant close to the hotel. Called Italian Cantina.

Good location, large rooms, breakfast with large variety of foods, employees are usually very kind... air conditioner and TV remote control hardly work, hotel rates are quite exensive... In brief, cost x benefit relaion is very much questionable.

Very friendly and helpful staff. It's just a few steps from the historical downtown. The breakfast service was in turmoil with lack of replacement of dishes and food. Good bar service. Lack of care in maintenance.

Never been so mistreated in my life

The hotel staff can’t use the lê club (loyalty program) , but they have no trouble for the guest to suffer from it. The staff delayed the usage of points, misinformed me, used the points for the wrong purpose (generating an absurd credit) , had the guts to blame me for this, and refused to reimburse me. Besides that, the room and hotel quality doesn’t deserve the name of grand mercure

My stay was pleasant and the staff helpful and considerate. The breakfast was excellent. We had dinner there one night and the buffet was very good. It was very conveniently located for our meetings and business.

Good stay however a little disappointed with the quality of the best hotel suite. I have always stayed in the accor network hotels and normally the quality of the apartments and well superior. That's one of the reasons that maybe does not stay here in this hotel.
