My stay was really good. The service was impeccable especially from Jai, Gilbert, Myint, Ajhay, Ashis, Azmad, Roju in the gold club. The security even helped me find my lost phone, which was a miracle! We plan on booking fairmont the palm in the future. The only critique I would have is that its pretty expensive but I still think its the worth the visit at least once

The festive afternoon was wonderful, with lots of delicious food. One of our group is dairy-free and the team went above and beyond to accommodate her, which was really appreciated. Our server, Prajwal, was excellent, we honestly couldn’t have asked for better service.

We have just spent 12 wonderful nights at the Fairmont The Palm hotel and already planning to return at least once if not twice next year. We stayed in Room 904 Double queen gold room with a partial sea view and pool view. This was excellent as the gold lounge was also on this floor meaning breakfast and cocktails were just a short walk away. There was a sophisticated elegance with an Arabian feel about the hotel. The service was attentive but respectful across the entire hotel things just got done behind the scenes without any fuss and requests were noted and acted upon. The location of the hotel was perfect, we had stayed at west beach before in a neighbouring property and knew that the Fairmont was on the beach and had good access to the Marina, JBR, emirates mall and downtown. There is also a mall only 5 minutes walk away with a Boots, M&S food and Waitrose for any extra essentials plus a cinema showing all the latest releases of English films. The staff in the gold lounge Myint, Roju, Ashis, Ahjay, Gilbet, Jai Cee. Amzad, and Chef Krolin went above and beyond to look after me and my mum. Always greeted warmly and made to feel like more than guests more like part of the family, Coffee was brought to the table and the selection of eggs were cooked perfectly for breakfast, afternoon tea was informal but always inviting and Cocktail hour and canapes was delightful, all the staff remembered our drinks order and we were never left waiting for a top up. Myint was brilliant in communicating with me before my stay trying to workout which room to choose. Myint and Roju did not hesitate to book our Dinner reservations and always checked in with us to make sure everything was ok with the dinner the night before and get feedback, Also to our surprise on our last night (we had an early morning departure so would not make breakfast) the team asked for a group photo and presented us with a lovely leaving gift, this team really does go above and beyond everyday with every detail. I really didn't want to leave. This hotel was exceptional. Lokesh looked after our room and nothing was too much trouble, towels were ample and replenished as needed, a welcome fruit bowl was provided on arrival and we requested turndown service and this was completed for our return each evening, The bed was so comfortable and not too firm but supported a restful nights sleep. The room had really good soundproofing we never heard any other guests or staff. The room along with the rest of the hotel was spotless and the room staff were attentive and always greeted you with a warm hello when encountering you during the day in the corridor which was always appreciated. Andrew and the adult pool team staff were attentive and we had individual call buttons at each sunbed to call for service, the team also remembered our order my mums Ashley's favourite and my chocolate milkshake with a cheeky shot of Bacardi, towels could be replenished at any time of the day and there was no towel limit per person, this was also replicated at the beach club which we visited twice but was a little too lively for us so we stayed poolside which had a lovely ambience and wasn't too loud from other neighbouring establishment's. The pool also had handrails installed and shallow steps which was ideal for mum as she suffers with vertigo and needs something to steady her when entering the water, the water temperature was perfect and I don't normally enter a hotel pool as find them too cold, I think I spent half the day in the pool :) I also loved the Macau that was close to the lifts and said hello to him most days and Ahmed was more than happy to do high five, kiss, give snacks and let me hold him, Thank you for accommodating me. (Sorry I don't remember Mr Parrots name) The only improvement I can give feedback on was the taxi assistance at 4pm on the 5th Dec the gentleman at the stand seemed to be argumentative and I felt it embarrassed me as a guest - We were informed we could not get a local taxi just a hotel taxi (comfort and more expensive) and I ended up booking through Careem. This was a first for me staying in a 5* hotel in Dubai as normally they radio to the road and someone waves a passing taxi in. Additionally, I had prebooked a Lexus for 10 hrs to take us to the Abu Dhabi GP on the 7th through main reception concierge the car was not available and the same taxi assistance gentleman was being argumentative with the concierge (please note this was not the concierge who was exceptional and helpful) when I asked the taxi assistance what the issue was I was again left feeling awkward and embarrassed and not of the standard I would expect from the Fairmont with its sophisticated and attentive service everywhere else. As a replacement we were offered a Citroen people carrier for 6 people for the 2 of us and mum struggled to get in and out of the vehicle as she struggles with high steps, we could not refuse this as we had tickets and needed to transport, Although this had happened the chauffeur was lovely and made us feel at home and i was sure to let him know this was not his error but a hotel misunderstanding on not honouring the car we had booked. People have reported noise in the hotel, we were disturbed one night (it was Saturday and this is a lively area of the palm which we knew about before booking) from the open air nightclub. Myint in the gold lounge apologised and explained the hotel was aware and had reported this level to the community standards for the area, it didn't happen again and it didn't impact or spoil our stay at all. We thought the value of the hotel was good value as our room included the gold lounge package. Apologies to any staff I have forgot to mention you are all an asset to the Fairmont brand.

Second time staying at the hotel. It was a great stay, staff were amazing especially Rashmita. Very helpful throughout the stay. Just think the rooms can be a bit more updated. little Miss India brilliant restaurant. Overall, very happy.
