Not Dubai luxury Good Lovely fruit stall and ice cream available through the day Cabanas available for those with suites. Though most were reserved yet empty most day, so you couldn't be close to the pool. Fresh smoothies available at one pool Free atlantis tickets every day, but we didn't use the shuttle as only limited times during the day. Splash park was covered though on day a member of the staff wouldn't allow adults down the slides. Italian restaurant was superb Baklava and sweet treats available by reception was a nice touch Not so good Poor service from the start. We were told to keep checking with reception to find out when our room was ready and that it will be around 30 mins. However whenever we did check, the staff seemed irritated by our request and we waited more than an hour. Room was very dated and worn, the shower didn't drain of water, ac rattled. Asked to move rooms but they all seemed to have issues. Building works and fumes outside the our room without any prior notice for 4 days of the stay. Unable to order any food to sunbeds Hard to get staff attention at the cabanas Cots for the children were very small even for my 1 year old and damaged. Requested another and was brought the same again. Buffet was very repetitive, we asked for a veg pizza for our children and were brought one covered in baby sweetcorn and beans which was odd and our children didn't like. Steak restaurant had an awful singer with incredibly loud music on a poor speaker system. We left before dessert, couldn't even have a conversation! The entertainment repeated every 2 or 3 days, the same musicians. Some were quite alternative. Service via WhatsApp wasn't great so I stopped using the service after a few days. Kids club had all Russian staff and children and my children didn't feel particularly welcome

We stayed here last November and had a fantastic time but this November well what a difference. The staff are mostly all attentive and jagger and the waiters by Bodrum pool really are fantastic but as some reviews on here state the rooms are becoming very dated and need to be deep cleaned or renovated . The food is average this year and not much choice .We have photos of food in toro loco and olivio and the portions and sauces have definitely gone down. We paid £6200 for 2 for a week and were very very dissatisfied we definitely will not return to the Rixos again as I’ve said the staff make this place but they are cost cutting without a doubt we go to Dubai 3 times a year and have stayed in many hotels on the palm so I do know what I’m talking about so sorry for the couple who came with us we said how good it was but unfortunately did not live up to expectations we also had problems with the air conditioning which the engineer worked on but it never worked properly.

Rixos differentiate itself with great sports program with a variety of activities, such as Pilates, CrossFit, tabard, yoga, personal training programs. Yaroslav best trainer, very energetic and motivating. Highly recommend for everyone.

Stayed at the rixos for the 3rd time. We arrived early, so no room ready, no problem, called when it was available. Escorted to the room by someone from guest relations who clearly couldn't be bothered, despite attempts to make conversation. The room was the worst room we have had, tired, old, floor scraped to bare timber, overlooking the shisha bar and a roof of a building. I immediately went back downstairs and waited to be offered a different room. We were moved further along the corridor- slightly better view, but still a tired old room (stayed in a refurbished room September 2023). 4 days later the shower packed in, which in fairness maintenance did repair, but not at all convenient as we were going out. What was a very good buffet is now average. The same pide/kebabs/pasta every night. What were delicious curries now predominantly bones. We skipped dinner for 5 of the 11 nights that we stayed. Toro Loco again not good. 3 different staff came to ask what drinks we wanted.....whilst we continued to sit with empty glasses. When food did come the mashed potato was stone cold - maybe a theme as it was the same in olivio. What was pleasing to see is that some of the staff have had well deserved promotions, Saban and Shanker. Masood at the pool also gives great service. A disappointing stay - and one that will have us looking for a new favourite in Dubai. There is definitely cost cutting in the background - which is not relatable to the price to stay.

We visited Rixos several times this year to enjoy the pool and the beach. Great facilities and quality of food with a variety of choices. Can’t be bored with the amount of activities offered for adults and kids including sports. Really enjoyed fitness classes by Exclusive sports club. Great instructors especially Yaroslav who’s leading awesome classes there in the gym. Helps to burn energy after a good meal during the day. Can’t wait to be back and thanks to the staff for a great service.
