Family of four from London UK, stay for 6 nights during last week of January/ into February in a two bedroom, two bathroom suite. The suite is huge and very comfortable with well designed bathrooms, independent air conditioning controls for each bedroom, suite has two Tv's, two fridges each refilled every day with soft drinks. The housekeeping service was superb and the room was cleaned to the highest standard every day . This was our first visit to Dubai and first visit to this hotel. We had the most wonderful stay at the Rixos Palm Hotel and Suites. The hotel is spotlessly clean with beautiful gardens and beach areas. The two buffet dining restaurants are superb and the staff are very welcoming providing excellent service ensuring guests have everything they need. The range and quality of food is amazing. Every member of the hotel staff and management team work incredibly hard to ensure guests have the best possible holiday. Management have created the highest standards by constantly monitoring all the public areas to assure guests have the best experience. There are three ala carte restaurants in addition to the buffet dining and we eat at two of the three - the steak house and the Italian restauarant .Both restaurants were excellent and served us with exquisite four course dinners with 5 star service . Bar1 is great fun and the cocktails are fantastic, our server Christine was friendly and efficient making us welcome with smiles and snacks to accompany our drinks. Anything we asked for at reception or the guest relations desk whether it was for general advice or to book a tennis court was dealt with professionally and quickly. All the staff at this hotel are on a mission to make your holiday perfect ! We have been home for less than a week and are already planning to visit again and for longer next time. Apologies this is a lengthy review, but I have so much to stay about our recent stay… Firstly, I want to address how horrified I am to read a recent review where someone has rated a ‘3’ because the adults only area (by the adults only pool) was TEMPORARILY used for a kids inflatable activity. I was there on the exact same day and yes I can appreciate it’s not ideal but this caused minimal hinderance and happened once in the 8 nights I was there; there are plenty of areas away from the hustle and bustle on the beach or around the Breeze bar/pool that these guests could have temporality used. My suggestion to these people would be to go completely adults only next time- it’s advertised as a family friendly resort and this doesn’t warrant a 3 rating when the hotel is simply exceptional. From the moment we stepped foot into the foyer and had a warm welcome from staff and smelt the fresh flowers, we knew this hotel was going to be the standard promised. We had a three bedroomed family suite and this was a fantastic choice for us travelling as 6 adults. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms plus a guest bathroom, large balcony from the living area and dining area. These suites are located in the annexe building which is easily accessed from the main reception. They were so spacious and quiet as there was simply so much space between the rooms. Beach and pool service was amazing… I only had to move from my sunbed for the toilet; there’s a ‘juice of the day’, ice cream and the most amazing fruit stand available around the pool. I even saw a tricycle going around the pool on one day handing out Cornetto ice creams which was a lovely touch. The Bodrum swim-up bar is great and we had amazing service from Frederick and Yeli. All the bars have a different personality so there’s something for everyone and for every mood; BAR1 is a sports bar and open until 4am, Bodrum has great outdoor entertainment with the most spectacular backdrop (that’s going to be hard to top!), and the Shisha Lounge is laid back and lovely for a chilled drink. The main buffet is of very high standard, just don’t forget there is a grill in La Turca for any fresh meat you’d like cooked to your preference (a lot of people didn’t realise this was there as it was located in the canopy area). If you want a more relaxed atmosphere then there’s also a more exclusive (smaller) buffet restaurant called Turquoise that we chose to eat at a couple of times. All the a la cartes were exceptional with each one making you feel like you’d been transported to a fancy restaurant in the city. The filet steak in the Toco Loco was stand out for me. I would also recommend Bodrum for their lunch service so you’re waited on (smaller menu choice but really lovely). Quality of drinks is definitely ‘ultra’ and if you’re a fan of Whispering Angel, ask for the Wilderness Bay rosè- you ask for a wine and you get the bottle, on chill next to your table. I now understand why this hotel is referred to as ‘ultra all inclusive’ as it certainly is that! Guest services (WhatsApp) messaged us daily with a schedule for all the bars, restaurants and activities and they couldn’t do enough for you- big shout out to Zaynah and Hazem who were amazing! They have an on-site Nurse available until 2am every day which I know made a lot of guests feel really comfortable. This too can be arranged through Guest Services. There was always a full schedule of fitness activities and I participated in ‘Aqua Pole’ which was something completely different and gave my arms a really good workout- certainly worth trying one of the more unique activities that would be £20 a session at least at home. The broad walk accessed from our hotel was great for keen runners and walkers. Getting the free waterpark tickets was also fantastic - if the shuttle times don’t work for you, a taxi was roughly just 18AED each way. I celebrated my birthday whilst there and wow did they make a special effort arranging a cake (in the room and the restaurant we had booked into for the evening), fresh apple juice, a bottle of Prosecco and for my bed to be decorated. It’s certainly worth mentioning if you’re celebrating something whilst at the hotel. ALL the staff we encountered were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you and the resort was super clean and very well maintained. A few special shout outs to certain staff who went out their way to make us feel extra special were Guarev (Bodrum), Niranda (Turquoise), Sarrah (Patisserie), Imran & Raya (Shisha bar) and Elliot who was amazing helping with luggage, transfers and taxis! I honestly don’t think the pictures or this review does the hotel justice; yes you are far out from the main tourist attractions (so do keep this in mind), however the taxis are really accessible and we would sacrifice this every time to be located where we were on the palm (so pretty) and for the amazing quality of the all-inclusive. I will be back- if you’re considering this hotel, get it booked, you won’t regret it!

We arrived in Dubai on 27.01.25 for our first time and what an amazing experience we have had. Firstly, the hotel is beautiful. I am not usually one to post a review but for this hotel I couldn’t resist. Before coming to Rixos I had not yet experienced such high level of care, these staff go above and beyond and nothing is too much to ask. The staff work long hours & yet can’t do enough for you. We had numerous calls to check how we were settling in, staff members daily would ask how we were if there was anything we would like or need. As much as all of the staff were exemplary I would just like to name one member in particular, Sarea from the patisserie cake shop. She is one special lady. She made our stay so welcoming from the moment we met her, she is honestly a credit to your team. Her warm personality made us feel so at home and she along with all members of your staff were so good with our son, so thank you. We are sad to be leaving tomorrow but will most definitely be back in the future!

We stayed for 9 nights here and it’s a beautiful hotel with a good AI offering. We mostly stayed on the beach near breeze and it’s a good spot and those guys work hard and make regular trips to provide drinks. They provide water coolers at start of day so you always have cold water and that’s a good option. Turquoise is a lovely chill place for a cool lunch and is a more relaxed atmosphere than other areas - tranquil. The steakhouse has the best food - we went twice and recommended it to others. Top quality meats , well prepared and good service - this is the star restaurant. We tried the fish restaurant- it was ok - very noticeable that the manager was only interested in a table of Russians ! To be fair they didn’t seek the attention. The manager certainly has no idea if we had a good time as never even looked at us let alone asked us. We mostly ate in Turca - enjoyed the range and quality and no issues. I would call out KHANT from Myanmar - he was our waiter and excellent - really excellent at his job and a lovely humble professional server -he is a star for RIXOS. We did have some issues on our trip. Arriving at 3am the checkin etc. was all good but the safe didn’t work ! We dealt with it in the morning but dialling zero for reception is a waste of time - just go down as they are well staffed and no queue 🤔. They said we had to be in room so we waited, he came , couldn’t fix it, removed safe entirely, brought a new one and installed it - but an hour or so wasted. About 5 days in just as we were going for dinner we spotted water coming through roof of bathroom, through light fitting. Went to reception - they sent 2 guys and ladder - lots of banging, removed chunk of ceiling , said they needed an hour to remove a pipe in roof space - but we could go to dinner. We were fine to leave them - but then safe decided to break ! We couldn’t lock it so took everything with us to reception and asked they send a guy to room while we’re out to fix safe. They said NO - we had to wait in room. Made no sense so they said they would ask manager - after that call , in Arabic, - she said NO - manager wanted us to be in room. Not happy so I said Manager can come and explain. Manager appeared - he explained why guests had to be in room when safe being worked on. When I asked that since I had two guys in the room already and my room was lying open and the safe was empty that mattered - I could literally see the ‘penny drop’ -not sure that was covered in the call he’d had -🤔. To be fair he changed tack and said ‘go to dinner and I will fix this’. So got to the right outcome but not a good process and disappointing service from receptionists. It was fixed when got back to room at 10pm - interestingly no one ever asked if we were happy - no call to check. Overall the serving staff are great, the AI offer good and a lovely location.

Fantastic stay with amazing a la carte restaurants

We stayed for 6 nights in a Premium Sea View Room. First of all the staff throughout are all lovely, friendly and a credit to the hotel. The a la carte restaurants were superb. So impressed with the quality of food we received and I'd recommend anyone staying here to book these up as soon as you arrive as they are a level above the main buffet restaurant. That being said, the food in the main buffet was also good and staff were also excellent with their understanding of gluten-free treating this seriously even providing a seperate menu. We were lucky enough to get one of the refurbished rooms, which had positive and negatives points compared to the older style. Firstly the refurbished rooms no longer have sunloungers on your balcony, just two chairs. I'm rather at a loss as two why this is, as i would expect that most people would prefer sunloungers. The older style rooms still had loungers on the balcony. To the credit of the hotel, they did offer us an option to change room to the older type when we queried this, but the refurbished rooms were significantly nicer so we stayed in our room allocated. The older rooms were definitely looking very tired. Only other slight criticism, would be the lack of wardrobe space in the rooms. Other than that our room was very nice. The mini bar is excellent and refilled daily which is a must in a 5 star hotel. Would we return? Yes, but if we did, we'd probably go for a swim up room next time to ensure private sun loungers. If I could, id give the hotel 4.5 stars out of 5 . 4 seems to harsh, but the room quality isn't quite at 5, compared to other hotels we have stayed in.
