Główną zaletą hotelu jest dobra lokalizacja. Poza tym raczej rozczarowujący: komfort na poziomie Ibis zwykłego lub wręcz budget, śniadanie b. skromne, pokoje małe, skromnie wyposażone. W czasie naszego pobytu zepsuła się winda, co zmuszało nas do wdrapywania się na 4 piętro po wąskich schodach. I najgorsze - w pokoju robaki (pluskwy?), które pogryzły jednego z nas.

Avoid the basement rooms!

I would rate more highly except for the room I was initially given, in my case 006. Essentially, if you're going to stay here state that you do not want a room in the basement. The problem is that the rear door in the basement is used for access by staff anytime after 6am in the morning and the noise of the door going will wake you up in several of the basement rooms. There is also constant tooing and froing after this time as they start moving in sheets and towels etc. This is compounded by the same rooms being underneath the breakfast area so you will have people walking around above you from 7am too. Unfortunately, I discovered all this on a Saturday night when a nearby party didn't finish until gone midnight. It's not a 1* review because they did move me, but that was a nuisance. But these basement rooms should only be on offer for a substantially discounted rate. Having 1 day of a holiday impacted by lack of sleep is not what anyone wants. Aside from this, the hotel does a pretty good job. The location is good, as is the breakfast and the rooms are a bit sparse, but comfortable.

This hotel was the perfect budget hotel. To start with, location was good. Not in city centre but had its own town near by, walking distance to main city but trams are also simple to use. It’s near the Heineken experience and has a Lidl near which is convenient. Staff are very friendly, no issues with check in etc. the rooms are clean and has everything you need. We had a little balcony. Rooms have a really comfy and cosy feel to them. Really would recommend if you are going to Amsterdam to site see and need to budget a little bit. Lovely hotel stay.

Most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in

Location was probably the best thing about this hotel. Bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have EVER slept on in all the hotels I have ever stayed in. The mattress was about 10cm deep and kept moving sideways that I nearly fell off the bed in the night! The one pillow was lumpy that it was better to sleep without it. Sole reason for only giving 3 stars review. Also carpet got very wet inside window as lots of rain while we were there. Wasn't an area we walked on but was wet which made room bit musty. Also do not leave anything on floor while having a shower, including the floor towel as it will be soaked before you even use it at end of shower! Buffet breakfast was a nice little selection and staff in there were very nice. No hot chocolate from the machine though and I don't drink tea or coffee so just had juice and water.

Felt like if there were mites in the pillow and bed.

Reasonable service and good location. Could benefits from having sounds proof windows when you are facing the streets and the canals. The bed felt like it had mites and left the hotel with several parts of my body with a rash and itching. Not going back!
