Stayed here for one night on my 40th birthday with my wife and three young kids. The property is beautiful but overall we did not get the experience we were expecting. First, my wife tried to surprise me by mentioning to the restaurant on property, La Hacienda, that it was my birthday. They did not acknowledge my birthday with anything special at the end of our meal like she had intended them to. My wife was more disappointed her attempt at the surprise went unfulfilled than I was that I didn’t get a dessert for celebration. It was an expensive meal and wouldve been a nice touch if they had acknowledged the reason we were celebrating. Of more concern to me, however, was our room. The air conditioning unit was nonfunctioning. It did not blow cold air and it was very loud when it was on as it tried to work. This kept the room very warm and it made for a sleepless night. Our room was on the first floor and so we did not feel comfortable having our balcony door open all night with our three young children present. I did make mention of our room’s lack of functioning AC unit to the Fairmont quality survey and the response that I received was “Rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent future occurrence.” Wonderful that they are taking steps to ensure the next guest doesnt have the same experience in my room, but no help to me at this point. Overall, again a beautiful property and good food options but lacking the attentiveness that we were expecting for the high price point on our special occasion.

Fabulous trip so far! From Jack Hoover at the front desk who helped accommodate my bed request and make check-in presses delightful! Derek helped me get to my room and showed me all the amenities. Beautiful resort and highly recommend the Fairmont Princess experience!!

The vent in the room left us warm at night because of the way it was positioned. Also, the hallways need vacuuming.

Started off as an incredible resort upon arrival w a snack waiting for us in our rooms. Property is great, rooms nice but both outlets next to bed to plug phones in not working. Pools were great and pool service was great. One wall outlet also didn't work. 90% of staff we encountered went above and beyond. But the Plaza Bar on Sat evening was one, if not the worst customer service/wait staff experiences we've ever had. Used to work as a server and have NEVER stiffed a waiter/waitress. But I did that evening. Ruined what should have been a great evening and meal. Food was good. Service was terrible. One skinny glass of water for the whole meal, empty before appetizers, never refilled. For my whole family. Was looking forward to several glasses of wine, didn't see our server until she brought the check and the meal was over.

Room was clean and well appointed; always sleep well in the super comfy beds and pillows; bell service & valet superior; restaurant breakfast buffet not as many tasty choices as before; disappointed spa not accessible without scheduled treatments or pay $75 fee for day pass; love the self parking lot for quick in and out close to room.
