We expected a leisurely stay at The Princess but it was overcrowded. We assumed due to the low nightly rate, you were not busy but it was the actual opposite. There wasn’t room to even swim because so many people were at the pool. Additionally, our room would not cool down lower than 73 degrees. We put it at 65 around 6pm and it stayed at 73 all night making it hot for all of us and uncomfortable to sleep. Definitely not worth the price after all the taxes and fees - and not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel!

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with both the pool experience and the temperature in your room. We understand how disappointing it must have been to find the pool area overcrowded and not enjoyable for relaxation. While we do experience higher occupancy at times, we recognize that this should never come at the expense of our guests’ comfort, and we regret that this impacted your stay. We are also very sorry that your room did not maintain a comfortable temperature during your visit. Our engineering team will be reviewing this issue to ensure the HVAC system is thoroughly inspected and any underlying issues are addressed. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. Really outstanding, impressed and gratified that FSP does not follow the Big Brand cookie cutter, herding sheep (guests). Creativity, passion, teamwork, respect are all apparent in the team members as they display good old fashioned hospitality with enthusiasm and gratitude.

We've been staying at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess for 10 years. We visit multiple times in a year. Halloween, Christmas, and Easter are staples in are family traditions. We included Grandparents on our recent staycation over Memorial Day Weekend. The stay unfortunately had numerous issues starting from Check-in. Our room was not read by 4PM. This was after I was guaranteed early Check-in through sign-up for All-Accor. It was cited as a large group that was departing didn't leave until 2PM. When I asked for an hour late check-out at my chcek-out, I was denied. The morning was an issue, we were unable to be served food. The Buffet was over an hour wait. We then were sent to Provisions that had a line out the door and all food was gone. We then resorted to the Splash Pool. We knew food would not be served until 11AM. We ordered once 11AM hit. We then waited over 2 hours to be served the food (1:11PM). The server was apologetic. The Manager was less than helpful and I had to force communication. He just said they're aware of it and sorry. We have 2 children aged 4 and 6 year old. We had to result to chips and snacks to preserve the issue. The incredible grounds and long standing history at Fairmont were unfortunately tarnished by the issues.

We truly value your family’s tradition of staying with us during holidays and we are very sorry that this most recent visit did not reflect the experience you have come to expect. Please accept our sincere apologies for the multiple service breakdowns you encountered from check-in through your dining experiences. We understand how frustrating it was to arrive to a delayed room readiness. We are also very sorry for the extended wait times and limited availability you encountered at our dining outlets, as well as the delays in food service at the Sonoran Splash Pool. While this was an exceptionally busy period for our resort, this is not reflective of our usual standards, nor is it an excuse for the service challenges you experienced. Your comments regarding communication from our team have also been shared with our leadership for immediate review and follow-up. As a gesture of goodwill and to acknowledge the inconvenience caused, our team provided a $200 F&B credit during your stay. We are disappointed that we fell short on so many levels during this visit, particularly given your long-standing relationship with our resort. Please be assured that your feedback has been taken seriously and will be used to reinforce expectations with our teams.
