Fairmont Scottsdale Princess One of the best hotel I had! Beautiful, perfect service, staff is wonderful, room are great! Gardens, pools, golf, the pit fires everywhere in the garden, the place to be in Arizona! A special thank you to Jelena at the gold lounge for her kindness and great advices! The only things that could be better: get a bracelet instead of the keycards as I always forget my keycard. The only « bad » thing is that the « beach pool » is really freezing is was impossible for us to go in there, my kids were very disappointed as the pool was beautiful but their lips were blue after 5 min! I don’t understand why cooling the pool so much! Even the other pools were quite cold but was ok… a pity we could not go in the beach pool 😰 Otherwise I really recommend this place! You really feel great there! Will come back if we come again in Arizona!

Don't Book With Cruise Line Use an Agent!

Do not book your Princess Cruise directly with the cruise line. We used the cruise line and the reservation agent told us we would be upgraded (if space was available) since we were booking direct. My wife, sister and brother-in-law were all told the same thing. When we inquired(as we keep getting upgrade invitations) they told us there was nothing in our record! It took several calls to even reach an agent! The cruise line completely misrepresented them self and could care less. Use an Agent at least they will speak with you, the people answering the phones for Princess are very difficult to understand and usually in a non-traditional office setting. Not impressed with Princess!

Before arriving, I called the front desk when I noticed there was a slight error on the dates. Since I was there for a conference, the clerk gave me the name and number of the person with my organization who was coordinating the trip. I contacted the person using the info he gave me, and received no reply. Upon further investigation, this person was not affiliated in any way with my organization. No problem. Mistakes happen! I got it sorted out by bypassing Fairmont. When I arrived, I was given a dirty/used room in the G building. I called the front desk to request a ride back, since I had my luggage and it's not a short walk. That ride was never sent. So I walked back and retrieved a key to a clean room. The front desk credited $100 to my room account for the inconvenience and hassle. When I got to the new room, the key didn't work..... The hot water did not work in my shower, but I didn't want to change rooms again. (This is my fault, of course, but do you blame me?) I have a picture and video of the water pressure if anyone is interested. When I checked out, there was no $100 credit on my statement (of course). I receive much better treatment at a Hilton. Not sure how they maintain a five star rating.

Beautiful and expansive grounds with multiple great restaurants. The spa was one the bestive been to, with very knowledgeable and skilled therapists. Both the massage and facial were awesome. Excellent service from start to finish. I will definitely be back!
