This stay was total luxury for us. We've never spent so much money but because this was a 3 family reunion for an 80th birthday, we splurged. We did have a hot water problem for a few days and the Concierges did everything they could to solve the problem, but since it was a complex problem it took a few days to get the right technicians in. The hotel took off resort fees for the inconvenience but that was minor compared to what we paid. That said, every staff member bent over backwards to welcome us and assist us throughout our stay. It overall was a truly amazing experience. The in room dining food was fabulous and access to mini bar, snacks and coffee was so enjoyable. We had children with us ages 1 1/2, 4, 8 and 11 and they loved it.

The Fairmont was the perfect place to stay on our trip to Scottsdale to celebrate our twin daughter’s milestone birthday. From the very beginning the staff went above and beyond for our family! Balloons in the room from housekeeping, treats sent to the door upon arrival from concierge, a beautiful view, we could not ask for more. Everything on the property is so family friendly and accommodating. You truly cannot beat the location! I will continue to rave about our visit and encourage people to go experience the same level of hospitality and kindness we did. 10/10!

The pillows are uncomfortable. The bathroom is an odd design with the toilet in a small room behind the door. The closet is to narrow and the dresser is to small. The room overall was mid at best. The grounds are very nice.

Property is lovely, staff is very friendly. Disappointed in a couple of things. The first shower I took, the water was luke warm at best. I thought it was unusual and due to the business of the conference I was attending, did not mention it to the desk and I guess I expected it to be a single incident. The second shower I took the water was not even warm enough to steam up the glass. Interestingly the water in the sink did get warm. I let the shower run for several minutes but it never got any warmer. I located the blow dryer for my hair but it was not in working order. This was my checkout day and I did mention it when checking out but at that point any repair would only remedy the future customer of that room. I do wish I would have mentioned it initially but I really expected everything to be fine the next day. I did ask for a rate adjustment but I was not left with the impression that anything would be done.

I never had hot water in my room. After speaking with the front desk several times, the issue was never resolved. Its quite miserable to be at your hotel and take a cold shower.

This is a very nice venue, EXCEPT for the bed bugs. We were supposed to be in a room with a king bed but were given a bed with 2 queens. That was not a problem for us. After the first night, my wife noticed a few bites on her arm. All in a straight line. The second night, she woke up in the middle of the night scratching. By morning she had bites in a line up one arm and the other and a clump of bites on her chin. A few small blood stains in the bed. She went to the front desk to ask about someone checking for bedbugs, as this is indicative of them. She said she just wanted the truth so we would know how to proceed. Later that day, they did send their regular exterminator to inspect, and he said no bugs. The odd thing was they offered 3 times to wash all of our clothes but couldn't guarantee them back to us before our departure 15 hours later. They put us in another room for the night and gave us a plate of cookies for our trouble. Had they been truthful with us, I wouldn't be posting this review.

Overall a great stay for a CDW security solution forum business conference. However, the smoke alarm beeping noise was going off in my room late at night during my first night stay and the room temperature was either too cold or hot. Great property with amenties!

Unfortunately upon returning to my room after dinner with my girlfriend there was a sewage smell. My girlfriend ended up leaving the hotel and stayed with her girlfriend. I called the front desk and they sent maintenance who explained that my room was In an older part of the hotel and the pipes needed to be sprayed; the smell went away but very unpleasant and unacceptable for a $1000 / night room. Message boards on sewage smells in 5 star hotels wouldn’t be very good for business. Further, the AC at Bourbon Steak was so cold that I couldn’t even have a drink and had to go outside. The bartender said that they were “working on it”. I AM KINDLY ASKING FOR A REFUND FOR MY ONE NIGHT STAY.

Lovely resort, grounds are very well kept. Daily room cleaning was really good, the housekeeping folks did a nice job. I had an adjoining room, I could hear the family next store with two VERY LOUD girls through the door like they were in my room. 5:30am wake up call every morning was not fun. I had NO HOT WATER in the shower for 4 days. I called and requested maintenance look at it and it was still luke warm at best. Disappointing and not enjoyable.
