Right at the beginning, our check-in was very bumpy. We were standing there in line 20 people deep and there were plenty of staff walking around including the hotel manager and just leaving the two little girls at the front desk trying to manage the line. Further, there were some pretty big maintenance issues while we’re there including a board coming up in the walkway and we told somebody about it in for three days. The board was sticking up and I could just see somebody tripping and really getting hurt. Staffing is straining too. They were very noisy bringing breaking down tables and you know from an event and they were right outside our window at 2 o’clock in the morning talking like it was the middle of the day and they kept us up.

We have stayed at the Fairmont Princess in Scottsdale numerous times and had always loved it previously. This time, we had two privado villas and the noise was ridiculous- could here everything from above and next door. Impossible to sleep. Would never stay at a privado villa again. The service also was not as good as usual with housekeeping coming late a few times and no turn down service before going to bed at 10pm.
