Can't recommend at all. We wanted to indulge into a luxurious stay at Pullman. Unfortunately from the start the experience was terrible. When we arrived we were told the room is not ready and asked to come back at 3pm. Unsure why it takes until 3 pm to clean a room which had check out at noon. But OK. When we got back at 3pm the room was still not ready. So basically the first beach day was already over before we even stepped into the room. We weren't offered anything for making up for it. Only after I pushed for it we got 2 welcome drinks (which in my opinion should be included anyways for a nightly fare >220€). The welcome drinks then we're the next disappointment. We had to learn that we won't be able to choose cocktails, wine or beer but only water, juice and soft drinks. What is this? Once we were finally able to get into the room we had to find out that the beds are utterly uncomfortable. The rest of the room is nice. But if you wake up in pain without closing your eyes during the night the nice room looses it's appeal pretty fast. Would it be really too much to purchase matrasses which don't feel like wooden planks? The Internet was so bad we weren't even able to read the newspaper online. The staff is just not motivated at all. We had only one positive experience. This was the guy (bien) who brought your suitcases to the room. The rest really need some training to understand what service in a 5 star hotel should be. Check-in was simply bad. Not solution or guest oriented. The staff behind the bar should feel ashame. When we got there for the welcome drinks instead of taking our order where we were sitting they made us get up and walk to them. In total 5 people were behind the bar but only one was working and mixing the drinks. The rest was busy with their phones. Beach. The chairs at the beach a run down. Paint is falling off. There is no service at all. If you want a drink or food you need to get up, walk 200 meters and walk back with your drink. Certainly ok for a 3-4 star hotel but simply not for a expensive 5 star hotel like Pullman. It's overall simply a very very disappointing experience. The hotel is 4 star at best and hence heavily overpriced for what they offer.

Not great: Beds are uncomfortable. If you have 2 Accor plus cards you need to let the restaurant know before you order, so they can separate your table otherwise you can’t use them both. Pool is cold. Restaurant is ok, but you get bored after a few days of it. Staff tell you that the last order for the restaurant is at 10pm. Check in went from 9pm - 9:40pm so when we got to the restaurant we were told it was closed (last orders now being told was 9/9:30) so couldn’t order anything. The room service menu only had about 6 dishes and they were all Vietnamese food that westerners may not want to eat. We went to order a drink from the bar but the lady would not serve us because she said last orders were at 11:30pm. We showed her our phones that said 11:28pm. Staff don’t seem to take accountability or help you when they give you the wrong information. No overview of resort facilities. Great: Sun loungers Beach bar Pool service Food is cheap if you have Accor plus membership (50% off) Things to know: There are other hotels just a short walk along the beach that have restaurants with more atmosphere at night. The intercontinental lets you join IHG and you get 20% off food and beverage bills. The night markets down the road are clean but nothing really there. Staff warm to you after you have been there a few days. The first day it’s a constant battle.

My family had a great stay at Pullman Phu Quoc, when we finally checked in - we were helped to our room by attendant Lac who was very friendly and helpful during our stay. Our first two rooms were quite humid and smelt of mildew, finally manager Duong was able to help with the seamless transition of rooms and ended up upgrading us. My parent’s rooms were normal and comfortable. The breakfast is great, especially the daily flavors of juices plus pho and banh mi stations. The hotel pool and other facilities were well maintained and staff very professional. They even helped us book restaurants outside of the hotel as well introduce us to a taxi driver that helped us throughout our trip to take us safely and quickly to many destinations. Would recommend a stay here for future travelers

We stayed there for about a week. Customer service was excellent. They provided free airport pickup and drop off service. Front office staff were friendly and courteous. Mr. Vu, GRO was so helpful in all aspects, he pointed us to where the best places are in Phu Quoc, he helped us in communicating with non English speaking staff and concessionaires outside the hotel that's why my daughter and sister were able to enjoy para sailing and jet skiing. If we needed help in anything, Vu was just a phone call away. We ate at Mad Cow, their grilling restaurant, steak was great and staff knows what they're doing and talking about. Breakfast at the Salt 'n Pepper restaurant offers a wide variety of food. We specially love their speciality coffee (coffee and coconut cream). Beach area is private where you can lounge in peace. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and we will definitely come back.
