Good budget stay

The room was small for 3 people, but it was clean and functional and very easy to reach. The mattresses were extremely comfortable, and the bar in the lobby was well stocked and nice to end the day at. For the price it was a very pleasant experience.

Lovely hotel for the price. Staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfast was a bit pricey but good quality and lots of choice. Carpark was €7.50 for 24 hours and the bar was well stocked. The basic rooms are small for three people so if you are staying longer than a night it would be better to go for the bigger option but altogether, we were very pleasantly surprised and would definitely go back.

Arrived after a long drive having booked at short notice. Upon arrival we were immediately informed it would be an extra €20 for my dog. We explained she was my assistance dog, without any further discussion we were informed that regardless we would be required to pay. No request for her ID was made. The employee made it clear, assistance dog or not we had to pay. The fee was to cover extra cleaning. Utter nonsense, the room was so small I could have cleaned it in a matter of minutes. Most hotels charge less than €10 for a dog and every other hotel we’ve stayed at in Europe has treated my dog and I with dignity and respect and not charged us anything. Accor group customer service less than helpful accepting an abridged version of the truth from an employee and ignoring our concerns.

This hotel is easy to find, if you have satnav to guide you. It is located behind a light industrial area, next to two large holiday parks. We are staying in the small village of Jabbeke. The hotel is located by a lake. The lake is used for water sports. Close to us are two large permanent holiday parks. After checking in we sat in the hotel bar and enjoyed a Belgium beer each. Mine was Kriek and Janet the Jupiler. The sun is shining outside and it is quite warm compared to England, so we went for an evening stroll into Jabbeke. A very nice village and very peaceful. Finally back Ito our hotel for a pizza and a beer. After a good nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. We had breakfast downstairs which we paid for the night before, which had a continental style breakfast. Janet had croissant, cheese, ham. Orange juice and two cappuccinos. Graham had two brown bread rolls, orange juice, a cappuccino, black coffee, and sampled for strawberry apricot honey and chocolate spread. To make the chocolate spread better for me. I added seeds. The only problem that we had , was that the food in the hotel was limited and very expensive.

Pleasant out of town hotel, with easy Bruges access by car

We stayed here just before Christmas. We brought the car, so had to pay a little extra for parking. The location was very convenient to get to Bruges, however, felt like a random location for a hotel. Classic Ibis beds, so make of that what you will, but the shower was fantastic. We now have a separate shower rating comparing it to this shower, it was that good.
