We’ve never posted an unfavourable review of an Accor property. Until now. While duly acknowledging this hotel’s target market and price point (despite its brand, it’s not cheap), we reckon room’s design can be a bit more attractive. The room features rather harsh lighting, and the lack sufficient indirect lighting options to mitigate against the said fluorescent brutality. To put it bluntly, nobody can look good with the room’s unforgiving lighting scheme. The common areas also can certainly use an update. The breakfast does not feature much variety, and the lobby space is nonexistent, just cramped and crowded. There isn’t a lounge or comfortable seating to wait for a taxi or hang out and relax. The location may be convenient for nightlife, or if one has to attend to business nearby. For tourists, it may be a bit out of the way, if one intends to spend any time near Centro Historico. Otherwise, the delivery of basics are adequate: noise levels under control, cleanliness, adequate room temperature control, reasonably comfortable bed for the price, good toilet pressure and water temperature controls in the bathroom, workable wi-fi, just enough towels, competent housekeeping, and friendly front desk staff.

Acomodações satisfatórias em conforto e design. Equipe simpática, logo que chegamos tinha barulho de obra e prontamente eles nos mudaram de quarto. Café da manhã também muito bom . Essa é a minha segunda estadia nesse hotel e não será a última.

Comfortable hotel and friendly staff

My wife and I arrived at the hotel close to 7pm and parked our car in the parking lot under the building. There's a cost for non-guest of R$50 for a 12-hour period and R$40 for guests. The check-in was somewhat fast, but the price was different from the reservation I made through Booking. I ended up not questioning it because it was already late and I was tired from my trip. Check-in made, we headed to our room. During the reservation, I mentioned to the hotel staff that my wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary that month, and we were greeted to a small gift and a thoughtful letter, which was a heartwarming touch. The room is small and contains the double bed, a small table with a couple of chairs, a small fridge (empty) and a small closed to keep our clothes. The bathroom is small but very functional, however it took some time to get hot water in the shower. I had to leave the water running for a solid 2 minutes before the water was warm enough to take a shower. There were only bath towels and no hand towels, which wasn't really a problem, albeit unusual. The breakfast is simply amazing! There's a Peruvian restaurant annexed to the hotel, and I couldn't stop eating all the delicious pastries that were available. There's no lack of options, even for picky eaters like myself. There's a small outdoors space that's really pleasant to stay during the meal. The nice decor adds to the experience. We checked out the next day, with no bad surprises. Overall, it's well located, close to malls and parks, and the traffic around the hotel was somewhat easy, probably due to the period of the year (early January).

They say that the time for having breakfast is until 10 am but you go at 9:30 and most of the food is already missing. I really don’t recommend this hotel, just because of this breakfast. It should have all the food until the hour finishes, not 30 minutes before... Terrible

Location was the only great thing. Poor facilities for a too high price.

Muddy water, noisy equipment in the hall and maintenance staff knocking the door and opening the room at 08:30 AM with no apparent reason or pre-call or any later excuse. To finish the experience: a terrible Coffee in breakfest.
