We stayed for 2 nights at Sofitel and celebrated my birthday weekend here & could not recommend this hotel enough. We got upgraded to a Junior Suite initially but due to the Aircond being faulty, we switched to a luxury King room instead and much preferred the layout and coziness of the room. The room was clean & spacious, bathroom spotless, it fit a baby cot comfortably and housekeeping was also very prompt in tending to our needs. There were only 2 things that we wanted to point out: 1) we kept hitting our shins on the long bench situated in front of the bed so we eventually moved it ourselves to the wardrobe area and 2) the USB ports in both rooms (junior suite 0907 and luxury king 1514) were faulty so we had to plug our cables into the usb port located at the side of the room phone instead which made charging very slow. The hotel is literally next to DC Mall and just a 5 min walk to Pavilion Dsara Heights so one does not have to worry about groceries, food or shopping as there are plenty of shops within walking distance. We also had access to the lounge (Club Millesime) so we enjoyed all the perks that came with it. The lounge serves breakfast, afternoon tea & evening canapés which were great - a special shoutout goes to the lovely Lala who provided exceptional service, she was extremely sweet to us and ensured that we had everything we needed during each meal. She always greeted us with a wide smile, got to know my son on a first name basis and even saved him macarons and chocolate on our last day which we felt was such a nice gesture from her and really added a personal touch to our stay. Thank you Lala, we miss you already! All in all, we had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to be back.

Your professionalism and warm approach made the entire process very enjoyable. The food was delicious thank to the Chef and the banquet team service was also tip top. I was staying at this hotel for my trip to Kuala Lumpur. The hotel offered all benefits of Accor Plus Platinum like breakfast, lounge, room upgrade... During my stay the breakfast was magnificent. I tried both in Kwee Zeen restaurant and the Club Millésime, but I found the food in the lounge was better. They had variety of pastries and yogurts, but my favourite dish was the crêpe. It was crispy and perfectly cooked and paired with berries. In addition, the lounge had the afternoon tea and dinner. The food offered during dinner time was fantastic, and they had a 'special dish' everyday. During my stay, I got steak diane, peking duck, beef wellington, and grilled seabass. However, the buffet selection was relatively limited, and satay was the only dish I think that stand out from the others. Furthermore, they only upgraded my room by 1 category for the first night because all junior suites had been booked. However, from the next night, I got a junior suite, which was so nice because other hotels would have kicked me from a 2 room categories upgrade if there is at least one night that the 2 higher category room had been booked. Overall, this is a decent Sofitel property with an absolutely great deal (I paid about 350 MYR per night). However, there are room for improvements such as better lighting control system in the room that the hotel management should taken into consider.

Went for a birthday staycation. The overall experience was good and I need to highlight the service of one of their Front office staff Hui En She is friendly and helpful. The breakfast and the room is just perfect. One thing to say is they don't have their own parking space.

My return stay at Sofitel KL! nice stay in this cosy hotel.. my accor platinum status make my stay more comfortable, we enjoy all the facilities at the hotel, also we have all meals and teatime at club millesime, staff M iss.Cassie is caring staff and take care of us, highly recommended!
