If I can give a rate of below 1 out of 5 I will give it for sure. It was one horrible experience ever I ever had. I have booked days earlier before my arrival date and I was charged 100% of my staying fees. I should expect an immediate check in when I reached at night however we had to stay in the reception more than 2 hours as our room was taken by other guests and the hotel claimed there were no empty room due to whatever reason. Regardless the reasons, my room should have be empty and ready for my arrival. Secondly, I was informed the breakfast was between 6:30 am and 11:00 am however I reached the restaurant 10:30 am and everything was removed. I would like to thank 2 persons working in the buffet who brought us a ready made plates and coffee.

Chaotic and slow check in. Before being welcomed I was told “check in is at 2” by Khaled. What a way to start - not a hello, welcome, how was your flight, let’s try to check you in. No. A dry and curt “check in is at 2” I’m not looking for a free stay - I’m paying - and I’m a loyal Accor customer. “Helped” by Loubna - whose favourite phrase is “check in is at 2”. I kept trying to get information on how long it would take for a room to be ready - and when she didn’t repeat “check in is at 2” she’d tell me “one or two hours”. Which doesn’t help much - if I’m going to leave the hotel to get a coffee or quick lunch I’d need to know what time to be back. She also suggested I could wait in the lobby - which was packed with people, screaming children, and people playing videos on their phones. Not exactly an oasis of tranquility - but it matched the chaos of the check in procedure. Her response to that was “actually 4 hours” and gave a sarcastic smile. I told her that I don’t appreciate her attitude and to be professional - to which she responded to me that I should “chill out”!!! She then started to explain how she couldn’t give me a room which wasn’t cleaned!!! As if that’s what I’d want! She had the audacity to go on and explain how if she gave us a room which wasn’t cleaned there wouldn’t be clean towels or water bottles etc. I told her that I don’t need for the basics to be explained to me and that this wasn’t my first time at the hotel She scanned my passport to put me in the “queue”. After stepping away to let my colleague check in she asked if I was still angry - to which I simple said that I would be giving her the review she deserves. An absolute disgrace. The hotel should really be aware of how their staff speak to guests and review their training standards and the quality they deliver. It’s not the Sofitel but I’d still expect a minimum of respect and effective communication. When I finally checked into my room, which was spacious and well-laid out - I was hit with a very foul odour, and although I can’t capture it with pictures - I can capture the many stains and marks all over the curtains and furniture.

Chef hurmat's breakfast at the hotel was a culinary masterpiece. The chef's creativity shone through in dishes like lemon ricotta pancakes and smoked salmon tartine. Impeccable service, elegant ambiance, and attention to detail made the experience truly sepcial.

I was blown away by chef hurmat's breakfast buffet at the hotel. The chef's creativity and attention to detail shone through in every dish. The strawberry-stuffed french toast and spinach-quiche were absolute standouts. Chef hurmat's commitment to using fresh, high quality ingredients.

This must be one of the weakest Ibis hotels. It’s cheap, and it shows in the general standard of service. Arriving after a long day of travelling, check in was slow, the standard of cleaning was poor (body hairs on shelves), the tv didn’t work with an engineer having to be called (it failed again late at night) and three conversations with reception just to get glasses and a couple of tea bags for our room (they don’t give out coffee). The supposed king size bed was anything but. We won’t be back.
