A charge appeared on my account for food and alcohol at Spice Central Kitchen & Bar that did not belong to me. When I informed the duty manager, she was unable to produce a signed bill but refused to reverse the charge and insisted that my card was not charged. When the charge appeared on my bank statement, I emailed her but she ignored me completely!

객실 상태는 좋았지만, 로비가 너무 협소해서 잠깐 앉아서 머무르는 것도 편하지 않았습니다. 조식을 추가로 해서 부페를 이용했는데, 39불이라는 가격이 너무 아깝고 서비스 또한 개선해야할 점이 많았습니다. 오믈렛도 주문한 것과 다르게 주셔서, 다시 주문해야했고, 소이라떼를 주문했는데 커피가 다 식은 후 전달받아 커피 또한 다시 주문해야 했습니다. 호텔에서 이렇게 다 식은 커피 가져다 준것은 처음이라 매우 당황스럽고 기분이 언짢았습니다. 부페에 손님이 적었음에도 빈 그릇이나 접시를 바로 치우지 않고, 치워달라고해야만 가져가는 게으른 서비스는 우선적으로 개선해주십시요. 조식 퀄러티 또한 3성급도 안되는 수준에 몇 가지 종류도 없는 과일은 리필도 안해주시고, 정말 너무 실망스러웠습니다. 매니저도 있었고, 수퍼바이저처럼 보이는 분도 있었으나, 그저 쳐다보기만 할 뿐 이었습니다. 리뷰가 좋다고 생각해서 예약했지만, 추천이나 재예약은 돈 낭비라 생각합니다.

Very Poorly Managed Hotel

Very poorly managed hotel that is obviously cutting costs to bare minimum. The things I expect of a Novotel are sheets that are not scratchy, more than 1 towel each for an overnighter, particularly where there is a pool, and friendly service for Gold status members who also have paid Accor membership. You definitely get none of those at the Novotel at South Brisbane. If you ask for a later check out to 12 noon it’s an automatic and emphatic NO. I, therefore, had to check out and sit down at the Bar area trying to do some work while my husband attended a meeting elsewhere. I tried to order something to eat after 11 am from the Bar Menu but was told the onlything I could get was a drink. I ordered a lemonade / Sprite but got a soda water with a piece of lemon? There are no cafes close by / across the road so you have no choice and have to hike over the South Bank so you would think the Bar Menu would start earlier or you could at least get a toasted sandwich or something the Bar staff could handle. There is not enough parking. Never had that problem at the Sofitel in Brisbane or the Pullman, both of which are in the City. With this Hotel you have to Park over at the Convention Centre. The staff couldn’t have been more unpleasant and unhelpful if they tried.

Regarding late checkout, while we always try to accommodate such requests they are subject to availability. Unfortunately, on this occasion we were unable to extend your stay, as we needed to prepare rooms for arriving guests. I’m sorry this left you in a difficult position. We understand your frustration with limited food service before midday and are reviewing our offerings to improve flexibility. As for parking, we regret the inconvenience; space onsite is limited, and we do our best to direct guests to the nearest available options. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. Your feedback helps us continue to grow and deliver a better experience for every guest. The room is comfortable, cosy and clean. In addition the bathroom setup is amazing. The highlight of my staying is the friendly and helpful staff. Katie, the front desk was simply amazing.
