Mercure Warwickshire Walton Hall Hotel & Spa 4 estrelas

I treated my mum to an overnight stay at Walton Hall as part of the groupon deal. It is in a beautiful setting. We stayed in a classic twin room, it was nice, very clean, even had a balcony looking out to the hall. The hotel had left a card, chocs and a bottle of prosseco which made it feel really special. The food was really good and the staff even brought a glass of prosecco for my mum on the house with dinner. We didn't end up using the spa facilities so cannot review, due to shopping in Stratford :) Breakfast was well stocked and had lots of choice. Staff were helpful and friendly, making us feel really welcome. I would definitely like to stay again and maybe do some of the local walks.

Walton hall stay was good in terms of staff were lovely breakfast was excellent and shower was wonderful. We did have issues with electrical fault which was resolved but did mean no heating in bathroom. Also I prefer the spa facilities in main building but this was in another part of building. Walton hall grounds was lovely area to walk around. The staff were lovely with problems we had and gave us points and rewards which we are still waiting for. Overall good stay but will come again in summer.

We had a wonderful one night stay in this grand manor house which is set in a fabulous location just 20 minutes from Stratford-upon-Avon. We took advantage of the spa break with breakfast and dinner included and the value for money was amazing. I would not hesitate from booking again. The spa facilities, the general accommodation and the attitude of the staff were all 5 star.

Booked a spa package with two treatments and afternoon tea with my partner. Pool area is dated, cracked tiles, mouldy window panes. Sauna and steam room very small. No jacuzzi. We booked our treatments, partner had a massage, was ok. I booked a luxury pedicure. I lay on a bed for the treatment, thought that was odd. The therapist painted over my existing nail polish. Not foot spa or treatment just a file and polish. I complained, was told to go for our afternoon tea and the manager would confirm my treatment with the therapist. I returned, I was told I had had a luxury pedicure. I can assure you it was not. I was told Tom, the manager would give me a call to discuss. 6 weeks later, still no call. Don’t waste your money! Only received one treatment and no cups for the coffee! Very dated and rude reception team.

Bonito e tranquilo hotel no countryside que está localizado a cerca de 18 Libras esterlinas (de táxi) da cidade de Stratford-upon-Avon. Por ser afastado da cidade, se não estiver de carro ou disposto a pagar o táxi, terá que se contentar com duas opções de restaurante, sendo um deles mais requintado e ambos necessitam de reserva prévia, ou então o bar que serve lanches e alguns pratos rápidos (fish and chips, por exemplo) até a meia-noite. Lindas paisagens de manhã ou no final da tarde, seja com o sol se pondo ou com uma leve camada de gelo no gramado, que pode se intensificar e congelar a água do chafariz. A arquitetura histórica do século 16 rende incríveis cliques se fizerem parte dos seus hobbies ou simplesmente para guardar uma lembrança. Os quartos são pequenos e aconchegantes e disponibilizam wi-fi gratuito, ferro e tábua de passar para pessoas que como eu geralmente precisam alisar as camisas recém tiradas da mala. A tv de tela plana tem um leque bem restrito de canais. O banheiro tem a vantagem de oferecer ducha e banheira, além do muito útil "heated towel rail", que serve para secar e aquecer as toalhas. Há academia e piscina coberta ali, mas ficam afastados dos quartos, O que nem sempre é prático devido às temperaturas mais baixas e ao vento cortante em boa parte do tempo. O atendimento é eficiente, mas não becessariamente simpático. Boa estrutura para eventos, sendo que os bolos e cookies servidos nos coffee breaks são deliciosos. Achei interessante servirem uma fruta diferente a cada dia e deixarem uma pequena placa indicando os benefícios de sua inclusão na alimentação.
