Very enjoyable stay. Great location, nice staff, clean room. Quirky room layout with a funky, comfortable bunk bed. Staff were professional, particularly Leigha behind the bar. Decent value and ideal location for the NEC. Easy check in and check out.

Very very rude manager - no understanding of the word hospitality. AVOID Hotel comfortable but the female manager at breakfast was disgustingly rude. An error with the booking on their system and the lady had the audacity to call me stupid! Absolute disgrace. Her staff were embarrassed by her horrendous behaviour. If you want polite service, stay elsewhere; if you want to be insulted, Ibis Birmingham is for you

Positive points: -Location (1 minute to the airport). - Fast internet ( posibility to use your netflix, YouTube accounts…) - Fast check in. Opportunities to improve: - Being an airport hotel the limitations regarding the “ restaurant service” are frustrating. To arrive at 4:00 pm and have to go to the airport if you want to grab a bite, is not convenient. - The dinner service was not very well organised, with the poor waitress completely lost on whether a table had ordered food, to what table should the deliver the food they had on their hands… Personal preferences: The whole bathroom design in a pod is not my cup of tea.

Yes, it's cheap, but the room is soooo basic and not clean. There is muck under the bed, hairs on pillow and in shower and a spillage near the bed that has just been left. No tea/coffee in the room... I was told I had to go down a floor for that. I haven't not had those facilities in a hotel or B&B of any level in the UK in my life! There is no room service. I haven't tried the TV but there is no remote but the bed does seem comfortable and has enough pillows only because I am on my own. The check in was quick and easy and the receptionist was friendly.

Anita ,Lorentz and Andrea very hard working efficient and attentive...a lovely meal...many thanks.. We hard a tasty lasagna side fries and side salad shared between 2...plenty. Shiraz was very good colour and taste great
