Had a lovely stay at the Mercure. Bed was comfy and room clean. Ate at the restaurant and was pleasantly surprised, best whitebait I've had in this country for years. Special thanks to Kim b and Evie for their great service and friendly manner

There was a great variety on the menu and the food was delicious and well cooked. The service was great and the staff were very attentive. Dominika was a fabulous host and nothing was too much trouble. Her colleagues Scarlett and Alex were also so polite and friendly.

If you like sleeping in a cave, this hotel is for you! No heating, so bring a warm coat! Lighting in room pathetic, so bring a few torches. Bed like concrete. Bedside lamp broken, mirror light in bathroom not working! Staff are really practiced at saying sorry, but can’t do anything! My advice… go elsewhere!

I was providing dinner theatre entertainment for a coach company there and The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to do a good job. Communicative, supportive and thoughtful. I’d definitely be happy to be booked there again. Thanks to Kim Peach

Cet hôtel a son parking payant, non affiché sur le comptoir de la réception, ni sur la voie d'accès de ca parking, non éclairé, non abrité et en mauvais état. Il n'est pas non plus signalé par le personnel de la réception, malgré la demande faite pour savoir s'il est possible de recharger un véhicule électrique, donc qu'il y a une voiture à stationner. En payant le jour du départ, je signale que je n'ai pas pris de p.d.j., mais il m'est facturé. Pas de demande si j'ai un véhicule au parking. Professionnalisme dans cet hôtel égal à 00. Par contre, envoi d'une contravention, dont le coût est supérieur à celui de la chambre. Là, chapeau! Les autres hôtels du groupe ACCOR, à Northampton ou Milton Keynes sont nettement au-dessus au niveau service. Aucune réponse de la part d'un responsable suite à un mail envoyé pour signaler ce problème, ainsi qu'après un signalement au service client ACCOR, montre l'état d'esprit du management et donc du personnel. A éviter, il ya mieux pas loin.
