I cannot fault this hotel. The staff were efficient, polite and friendly. The room was clean, quiet and spacious. The location is very good. Easy access to all parts of Manchester.

The hotel looks great, nice cafe/bar/restaurant, rooms are clean, staff are friendly but I can hear EVERY word of the duo next door, so do not come here if you are on a business trip and need your sleep. I had a 5 hour journey here and I might as well be in the same room as them. It is the only thing letting this hotel down to be honest. Paper thin walls.

I found the hotel to be clean and practical. Check-in was effortless ( though I miss a good reception desk) - the lifts are a bit rubbish, slow, and quite a long wait. Room felt small, but I was on my own for business, so what else did I need, right? The price was reasonable and the room had tea, coffee, ironing board and iron. Hot shower and a TV. Breakfast was good, in the restaurant underneath the hotel 'Jamboree' - the location is perfect. Right in the heart of the city. If you're not using the hotel to live in for a week, it's entirely adequate for a few nights stay.

The staff were great… Unfortunately the walls are paper thin and you can hear just about everything that’s going on in the adjacent rooms. I mean I can hear their full conversation. Then there’s the water draining from the shower in the room above. I don’t even know how Ibis can operate a hotel with guests having to endure so much noise. I literally am unable to sleep. The rooms are also very tired and run down. The food in the restaurant was expensive and very poor for how much it cost. Take note of the warning!

We stayed here for 2 nights recently. The hotel was very clean all over, all of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It is an excellent location for shopping and concerts, very easy to check in and out. Would definitely recommend for a city break!
