Mouldy bread served at breakfast

We paid £7.50 for what we wasn't told would be a continental breakfast, and there was actual mould in the bread. Blue mould which we all found in our bread. I can handle being scammed on price for breakfast but not genuinely having mine and my friends' health threatened.

Very basic, but beds were comfortable and clean, shower was clean and water hot. Excellent location for trams into Manchester centre. Staff were very Friendly, although I was a bit shocked that when we came back from a gig we were met by security, who checked we had room keys. This immediately made me worry about noise and general nonsense keeping us awake. But it was amazingly quiet, especially given how close to trams and road the room was. Same standard of room was close to £140 with Travelodge, this place cost about £60. Would definitely stay again.

It is what it is a budget hotel. Clean and minimalist. Bed, toilet and shower cubicle and a small tv. You can leave a deposit for a hair dryer and collect this from Reception but no tea coffee facilities in the room. If you want a cheap stay it’s fine - hostel feel to the place. Tram stop just across the road.

I had this hotel booked for me to attend a work event, Basic but perfect for a short stay, The hotels team were brilliant and friendly, The lady at breakfast was fantastic!!! The location was great and within walking location of the trams, trains and a brief walk to the Victoria Warehouse.

Parking options were extremely limited, especially for a large van! If you can park in the car park, which is shared with the Marriott next door, then it’s £12 per night. The staff were attentive and check in was easy. The carpets had been cleaned and there was the most horrific stifling smell that took your breathe away and you daren’t breathe in the corridor! There was bunkbed in the room, so a double bed with a single over the top. The room is small and there’s not enough plug sockets. You have to ask for a kettle and hairdryer etc, the room is that basic. It has a hostel feel to it and the noises… you could hear literally every little thing inside and out! Would avoid ever staying here again
