cleaner could better , found a kids yoghurt pouch under bed, heater struggled to wardroom unless turned up to 28. very comfortable bed will be back.

Finding an item left behind from a previous stay is not acceptable, and we have addressed this directly with our housekeeping team to ensure our cleaning protocols are more thorough moving forward. Additionally, our maintenance team is checking the heating unit in that room to ensure it is functioning efficiently for future guests. We stayed for three nights, the first time at this hotel, we found it very clean and comfortable. Our room was a courtyard room which was in a quiet location, the hotel rooms are spread out with large garden areas which are great for morning or evening walks. The restaurant and bar overlook a lake and offers a good range of meals. We look forward to revisiting the Mercure Ballarat for a longer stay.

We have stayed at the property several times. It is of our opinion thst the service and the quality of the accommodation has declined. Unfortunately this has lead to us questioning if we will stay again.

Bed was old, wasn't level, springs old Nd huge indentation. Pillows weren't nice, asked for another, seemed too hard to get one. No conditioner in shower. Mat for slippery bath mouldy. No amenities for bathroom. Only one sugar for tea/coffee. Door didn't shut properly unless pushed with force.
