We had a great stay at the Ibis Styles. The hotel is brilliantly located off the Pace Capitol. The room was very nice, well worth the price. The buffet breakfast was much better than what I am accustomed at a French hotel ... many hot and cold choices and halfway decent coffee! The courtyard in front of the hotel is lovely and we enjoyed a cocktail there before going out for dinner. My only complain is that we could have benefitted from more and larger pillows!

I stayed here for a few night. The check in staff was nice enough. The breakfast in the morning was better than adequate. The location was pretty good except for the night of the rugby celebration when it was quite loud. All the historic things in the city was in walking distance. The rooms are sparse. No closet. The air conditioning worked quite well.

We stayed here four nights. Reception staff are most helpful with directions as well as great recommendations for eating out. We arrived before noon and well before our room was ready. It was slightly difficult to locate because there was some work going on at the entrance at the time we arrived. But, the lady in reception who we spoke to on phone, before we reached Toulouse, had helpfully said it was next to Pandora. That proved to be a good clue! They have convenient space with comfortable seating within the ground floor plus a good toilet, where you can relax before the room becomes ready. Or one can relax in tables placed outside in the courtyard amidst lovely greenery! Our room, overlooking the courtyard on first floor was entirely adequate. Good lighting, comfortable bed and TV also offering BBC and CNN. The shower was good. What was lacking was a shaver socket in the bathroom. A small safe may have been a useful addition. They do not provide kettles and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a central kettle available near Reception which is entirely satisfactory. Breakfast is Continental with grilled /fried sausages and ham. They do have soya milk but most of the food on offer does not cater to those on a dairy free diet. It is better to arrive early for breakfast rather than later because a lot of the items may run out. The official start time is 0630 hrs to 1000 hrs, on most days. On Saturday breakfast finishes at 1100 hrs, if you fancy a lie-in. Happy to recommend this place, especially as it’s amazingly central location is its plus point. Most places can be reached on foot. If you wish to venture further afield, there are two Metro stations, Capitole (A Line) and Jean-Jaurès (both A and B Lines) nearby. Strangely, if you need a taxi at the hotel, you are advised to give 24 hour’s notice! Yet, walk up to Wilson place, and there are plenty of taxis in the rank. To summarise, it is Location, Location, Location!

We were at first concerned about how quiet the rooms would be since the hotel is right on the square. But after reading several reviews that said noise was not an issue, we went ahead and booked. We are glad that we did! We were warmly greeted by Nathalie and staff at arrival, and Nathalie kindly assisted us to our room. The room was much nicer than we expected for a budget hotel. The breakfast was very nice, location perfect, and best of all, we couldn't hear any of the court or street noise. Highly recommended!

Ibis Styles Toulouse Capitole is ideally located in Place du Capitole, the central square in Toulouse. It is in walking distance from Capitole Metro station (2 minutes) and from Toulouse Matabiau rail station (10 minutes). Most tourist destinations in Toulouse can be easily reached by foot from the hotel. I had a good room facing the internal courtyard, with a comfortable bed and a big bathroom. Air conditioning was very quiet, but not very effective. In addition, I could not use by night, since it blew directly over the bed. There was only a small uncomfortable table in the room, where it was not easy to work / write. The bathroom was large, with just the essentials. Cleanliness was very good, free wi-fi was also very good. Breakfast was very good with some choices available, and staff were helpful.
